There were probably three Canadian artists in the Top 40 on the charts back with Terri Clark, Shania Twain, Emerson Drive, and CDJ. It would be cool to find out.

Wow, you're right. 3/6/04, four Canadian acts in Top 40. Terri with "I Wanna Do It All", Shania with "It Only Hurts When I'm Breathing", ED with "Last One Standing", and CDJ with "Simple Life".

1. She Wouldn't Be Gone 2. Feel That Fire (probably missed his only chance) 3. Down the Road 4. God Love Her 5. Sweet Thing 6. Don't 7. Cowgirls Don't Cry 8. Country Boy 9. River of Love 10. White Horse
11. It Won't Be Like This for Long 12. Let Me (Pat's second T10 is now very much in reach) 13. Don't Think I Can't Love You 14. Last Call 15. It's America 16. Nothin' To Die For 17. Ride 18. More Like Her 19. That's a Man 20. She's Country 21. Everything Is Fine 22. I Told You So 23. I Will 24. Marry for Money 25. Here Comes Goodbye 26. She's So California 27. Always the Love Songs 28. How 'Bout You Don't 29. Where I'm From 30. Forever 31. Cry Cry ('Til the Sun Shines) 32. Brothers (could this be '09's Stealing Cinderella?) 33. Belongs to You 34. Shuttin' Detroit Down (debut) (my guess is that this will take a bit of a dive next week) 35. Best Days of Your Life 36. These Are the Good Ole Days 37. Telluride 38. Space (...is exactly what this song is taking up) 39. One in Every Crowd (debut) 40. Whatever It Is (debut)
Ugly backwards bullet for Adam Gregory, who could fall to as far as #43.

Intrigued by your comment, Kw. How do you see "Brothers" as this year's "Stealing Cinderella"?

Intrigued by your comment, Kw. How do you see "Brothers" as this year's "Stealing Cinderella"? I guess just because I've been surprised by how well the song has been doing. Both songs are syrupy ballads with lyrics that I find cheesy, and both are debut songs that have done surprisingly well (surprising to me anyway). Ultimately I don't think "Brothers" is going to make the T10, but I was just throwing the comparison out there because it had another good week.
