It's been out for a few weeks. I can't post any YouTube links though because the label has been taking them down as soon as they go up. Do some blog searching.

Another song with Flopzinger using the PCD name to prevent this from flopping.

^ Um, the PCD name hardly is a barrier against flopping. Just look at this era.

I love how on Allaccess it says Pussycat Dolls & A.R. Rahman (ft. Nicole Scherzinger) Is she not a member of PCD now? WTF is going on with their label this era? BULLs**t!!! This is the dumbest news I've read in a while.
Love love love the original though.

So what does this mean? Is their label now deciding to scrap "Bottle Pop" for this?

Girlicious...Man, I don't know if it's just me but it seems they're barely noticeable in the U.S. Meanwhile, they've become household names here in Canada and are getting plenty of exposure on MuchMusic.

A.R Rahman choose PCD too record an English version of Jai Ho! It's not their next single but a single from Slumdog Milionaire OST!

A R Rahman says Jai Ho to Pussycat Dolls
While the people in India are waiting for A R Rahman to bring home the coveted Oscar, there is a whole line-up of western artists who are vying to get a chance to work with the music maestro.
The latest singers to join this bandwagon are the Pussycat Dolls. According to reports, American pop group Pussycat Dolls will team up with A R Rahman for the remix video track of Jai Ho.
The Pussycat Dolls, comprising of lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Kimberly Wyatt and Carmit Bachcr achieved worldwide success in 2005 with their album PCD
The video version of Jai Ho will now see these hot ladies shaking a leg on the tunes of Rahman.

I love the original Hindi version that appears on the soundtrack. This PCD remake is a hot mess. It completely loses the impact that the original has.
If they really wanted to release "Jai Ho", they might as well have gone with the original instead of the remake. It would be better that they not release it at all if it's going to be this.

i just downloaded it off rapidshare and it's a really good song, but i just don't think it should be a single. it's not even on the album and they aren't doing a re-release that i know of, and i really have no clue why they would release a remake of a recent indian song. maybe as a promo but thats it. im guessing this isn't gonna be a single and the person that started this thread really needs to cite their source.
oh and did i mention it's ALL nicole again. not even backup from the other dolls. there's no way.

Why would any South Asian choose a slutty whorish prostitute-like group with a SouthEast Asian lead singer to do an English rendition of his oscar nominated song...??? Jai Hoe is right.

Why would any South Asian choose a slutty whorish prostitute-like group with a SouthEast Asian lead singer to do an English rendition of his oscar nominated song...??? Jai Hoe is right. A.R. Rahman has said he had dreamed of working with some of the U.S.'s biggest artists. He is supposed to be doing some new stuff with Rihanna and Justin Timberlake. Perhaps he picked PCD because he likes them. A.R. Rahman is one of the best music directors in India. I liked a lot of his work, but I feel most of his compositions fall into the extremes of being very classical or very modern. Rarely if ever in the middle.
