Well, in that case Mediabase AGAIN was WRONG!!! 19 18 KATY PERRY Thinking Of You 3562 3606 -44 20.930 22 19 AKON Beautiful 3151 2866 285 17.867 21 20 JOHN LEGEND Green Light f/Andre ... 3141 3427 -286 14.072 JASON MRAZ I'm Yours 3159 3471 -312 18.812 Jason was sent to Recurrentland when it was #19!! not even #20!! and given John Legend's speed of decline it was OBVIOUS that John was not gonna be able to reach #20 and surpass Jason. So, basically Mediabase gave an unfair benefit to John Legend and made him achieve a #20 peak even though it was #21 >:( Another mess-up and this time with NO apparent explanation this time, EXCEPT that they tried to amend last week's error by sending Jason as recurrent Given that this whole mess started because of something else that "should NOT have happened!" in the first place, I don't see anything unfair at all.

Sooooo, Beyonce dropped out of the Top 10 this week! :o That means: ONLY TWO WEEKS inside the Top 10 after it reached #1 thanks to a couple of weeks with -1400 change in weekly spins!! That could be a record For the PPW era, perhaps. Overall..."Walk Like an Egyptian" from 1986/87 (it hit #1 at the end of '86 and fell out at the beginning of '87) will probably always have the record, as it fell 1-11.

Yeah, Mediabase was right -- just a week late. The unfair benefit was to Mraz because he got an extra week.

Lady Marmalade (2001) also only spent 2 weeks in the top 10 after falling out of the #1 spot. www2.uta.edu/hunt/charts/Songruns/ChristinaAguilera/lady_marmalade.htm

Mmm... yup, I agree with the argument that Mediabase corrected an error from last week, which means that last week they DID make a mistake. I was arguing regarding the argument that said that Mediabase was not wrong last week... because if that argument was true, then they shouldn't have taken Jason to recurrentland.
