I am glad I recorded last week's show. Lesley Roy hung on to the 40 as long as she could, such a "beautiful" song, her chart run had to come to an end....I am glad that Soulja Boy Tell 'Em got himself another top 40 hit. And it's this week's only debut, with that said my tears for this woman have dried!!!

OMFG. Why did Taylor get another week at #1? Wasn't that supposed to be Britney's only week on top? :(

The site, unfortunately, mixed up this last week and this week columns for the chart, so I had to try and decipher some things.

Since no breakouts are listed, and there will be only one this week anyway, it would have to go to: Miley Cyrus - The Climb
I suppose Kid Cudi (Day N Nite) will serve as an extra since it has not charted yet.

Only one breakout this week.
Breakout: Saving Abel - 18 Days (bit of a surprise since there are other songs charting higher than this one) (between songs #23 and #22 towards the end of Hour 2)
Extra: Kid Cudi - Day N Nite (between songs #33 and #32 towards the end of Hour 1)

Well I know how frustrating it is when a favorite song of mine gets snubbed out of #1 on AT40. "Far Away" only peaked at number 2 here while it spent TWO weeks on top of R&R. AT40 had JoJo #1 for a week

This week's optional extras (in order played): Kelly Clarkson - Walk Away Estelle featuring Kanye West - American Boy Nickelback - Savin' Me OneRepublic - Stop And Stare
I must also, once again, correct Ryan's AT40 history. The AT40 staff, no doubt, use R&R for historical chart data (This was evident last year when "4 Minutes" became the highest ever debut at #12, despite there being a small handful of top 10 debuts in the past). We get it again this week when Ryan is introducing the #1 song. He tells us that 1980 was the last time a country song hit #1 on the pop chart (Kenny Rogers' "Lady"). Using actual AT40 chart history, the correct answer is Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton's "Islands In The Stream" (#1 on AT40 in 1983). AT40 was using Billboard, at the time. IITS peaked at #2 on the R&R chart.

IITS peaked at #2 on the R&R chart. That makes perfect sense. When Casey took over AT40 in 1998, his history continued to be R&R. And when Ryan took over in 2004, it was a continuation of Casey's chart (at least last week's positions for that week). I also noticed that Ryan said something like "this chart" instead of "AT40" when he mentioned the last #1 country song, so it sounded fair and accurate to me.
