"Chaotic" is a HORRIBLE Britney representative, disgusting.
Can't wait for this to drop, the new songs should be good.

That song sounds like it sucks. I wish she'd drop this hip-hop schtick. I was hoping it wouldn't extend beyond Hard Candy which is one of only two Madonna albums I can't stand.

Although this person intentionally trolls threads trying to rile people up... This is not true. Jamie Foxx is #1 in Hot 100 Airplay right now, and he's 41. And he's a man (it's always been worse for women), doing the exactly right genre of music for radio, he's barely in his 40s, and isn't that the only example? Madonna is in a slightly more precarious US radio situation than Jamie, unfortunately. Janet Jackson hit #19 on Hot 100 Airplay in 2006 - she was 40.

^^That was a duet with Nelly though. I was responding to the following statement: ""4 Minutes" is the *only* song since 2002 by an artist over 40 to make the Top 40 (of the Hot 100 Airplay)" Which is incorrect.

"Die Happy" has now been changed to "Revolver." I've only heard about 30 seconds. Can't wait to get the whole song. Madonna Fanzine is reporting this: The song 'Revolver' produced by DJ Frank-E, will be the first single off Madonna's 'Greatest Hits' record and is indeed set to promote it not long from now.
Don't be too quick to judge anything, don't rush your opinions, I promise you haven't heard nothing yet!

From the hip hop prophet blog: It has just been confirmed that "Revolver" wil serve as the lead single from Madonna's upcoming "Greatest Hits" project.
A clip of the demo leaked earlier this week under the title of Triggerman, and featured vocals from Lil' Wayne. It's currently unknown if Weezy will feature on the final version or not, but the song will be added to Madonna's current "Sticky & Sweet Part 2" tour, along with another new currently untitled track.
Other websites are reporting that Lil' Wayne will NOT be featured on the final version of "Revolver" but will be credited as a writer (and possible producer) and a potential release date as soon as June 30, 2009.

Rumored lyrics...
REVOLVER My love's a revolver... My love's a revolver...
Oops, I guess I shot ya My finger's on the trigger I had a bullet with your name on it Click-click I'm a sex pistol My love should be illegal Real deal, baby I'm no counterfeit Click-click
Wind them up Knock 'em down My lips can kill E-o-e-o My body's fully loaded And I've got more and more
Wind them up Knock 'em down My lips can kill E-o-e-o You're an accessory to murder, 'coz
My love's a revolver My sex is a killer Do you wanna die happy? Do you wanna die happy?
My love's a revolver My sex is a killer Do you wanna die happy? Do you wanna die happy?
bang-bang
My love's a revolver My sex is a killer Do you wanna die happy? Do you wanna die happy?
Wind them up Knock 'em down My lips can kill E-o-e-o My body's fully loaded And I've got more and more
Wind them up Knock 'em down My lips can kill

1:30 demo clip of "Revolver" (Shawna feat. Jackie Boyz) With a lead single titled "Revolver," it's hard to imagine them NOT going with some version of this "Hits"/gunshot packaging that may at one point have been scrapped: ok so here is a scrapped idea for the new compilation, called "Hits" at that stage - it has since changed direction

That image used on the cover and inside... it is from a magazine shoot... would the label have the rights to use that?
On a side note, the chorus to Revolver is AWESOME. Hope they can beef up the versus.

It's happened before. The Something to Remember cover was from a Versace photoshoot.

If M puts her spin on this track, it's similar to something like "Ray of Light." It had existed in previous form as "Sepheryn" anbd then that demo with that Christine chick. Madonna took it, wrote a second verse and did her thing with it- and- BAM- one of her greatest tracks. And she similarly did her thing to "Open Your Heart," "Nothing Fails," etc. ("La Isla Bonita" also had existed, in musical form, anyways, before she wrote the lyrics to it, but that'sa little different). Not saying "Revolver" will become one of M's grandest hits/tracks, just pointing something out.

^Madonna was 42 when the Music album was released- she had two top five hits from that. And then she had "Die Another Day" in 2002 and "Hung Up" in 2005- it was justh er on those tracks. :)
It is more challenging as acts get older, though, no doubt.

I like Revolver, but I hope that she sings it in the same key in the demo singer and not the one she sang some of the HC tracks in like 'Candy Shop'.

'revolver' should be out by the end of next month and the video concepts are already in plan so the video shoot may also take part this june.

her Us airplay isn't good since Amreican Life.. Yeah, Clear Channel blacklisting her really hurt the airplay of her songs. I can just imagine how big a radio hit Hung Up would've been and how bigger a radio hit 4 Minutes would've been had it not been for the controversial AL era.

Let's not blame CC blacklisting, now. The USA radio audience also is different than overseas- dance-pop doesn't do all that well, and the USA is more of an ageist society- hence "Hung Up" stopping at No. 42 on Hot 100 Airplay.
I think she could get inside the top 40 on Hot 100 Airplay all by her lonesome- top 20, that would be more challening at this stage.

Yeah, I agree that ageism is the major reason why her airplay has suffered. Even though it Revolver would probably not get that much airplay, I'm pretty curious to see how far it will go.
