Add date: May 11 Full Song (AllAccess) (Thanks Kevin59 for finding the link) Megan is currently in SoCal shooting the video with Director Curt Apanovich and Producers William Shockley and David Bennet (source: Freewill Films on Twitter) Video (CMT.com) Sidenote: As reported in a later reply in this thread, Megan is being moved over to Broken Bow Records' new Stoney Creek imprint. I really like Megan and I'm excited that she's getting another single, but I'm not sure this is the best choice. The 30 second clips can be deceiving, but this was easily my least favorite of the 3 new songs on there. Almost Like You're Here sounds terrific though, so I'm really hoping that this does well enough to get an album released for her.

Megan blogged about the video & photo shootMegan's album is pretty much done, produced by award winning producer Buddy Cannon, so I don't think they'll S-can this one like they did the first one they made a couple years ago. As for the choice of single, I usually like upbeat songs for the Summer, but if this is a road song, it might do well.

Good, if it is. I just couldn't get into that, as much as I wanted to.
I haven't heard this yet, but I have really high hopes.

Thanks for posting that newsbit, Kevin59. I kind of expected that news after hearing about the creation of the Stoney Creek Records imprint. It's great news for Megan -- being the "flagship artist" means (I hope) she'll finally get some real push behind her single and album. The girl has the talent, she just needs the publicity.

Thanks for the link to the full clip. I was just over at AllAccess and couldn't find it. I need a GPS for that site. My not-so-impartial opinion: I like it. It's got that top down, sun shining, wind in your hair, cruising down the highway feel to it. The stills I've seen from the video capture that feel, too. Well, except that she's driving a pickup instead of a convertible (this IS country music, afterall). Personally, I would've taken the convertibleNot a bad choice for a Summer single.

Love the song and she looks great in the video; can she really play slide guitar?
