This song is amazing, my favorite single from a Solo Spice Girl.

The song was okay, but the video was hysterically bad, LOL.
I prefer "Lift Me Up" (now that was a video!) and even "Scream If You Wanna Go Faster".
My Top 3 Spice Girls solo singles:
01. Mel C - Never Be The Same Again (though "Goin' Down" was nice as well) 02. Mel B - I Want You Back 03. Emma Bunton - What Took You So Long?

I think Calling was the only song from her that doesn't make me cringe.

I liked it, but Mel B's "I Want You Back" is my fave solo Spice Girls song.

Loved this back in the day. I had the cassette single!
My favourite song by her is "Scream If You Wanna Go Faster" and my favourite solo Spice track is the Hex Hector remix of Melanie C's "I Turn To You".

I thought the video for this was ridiculously campy, but quite memorable. There were posters for the album that used images from the video in clever ways. My favorite part of the song was the bridge where she almost goes operatic at one point. I give her props for pulling that off.

This has to be one of my favorite videos ever. I love the concept and the way it was all put together. She is looking amazing on her dance final bit. HER HAIR is OMG fierce!
I loved this and it was pretty much the best 'comeback' single a spice girl ever had. It made it really remarkable at the time! The song aged a bit for me (and I'm a geri stan) but the video never fails to entertain me!
A shame the US didnt dig on it too much. A single should've been commercially released

When I was little I used to sing this to the tune of the chorus whenever a car drove by: "There's a car! Car-y ary ary ary! I wonder Is it a Ferrari-ari?"

I remember that time when she left the spice girls. Such a huge outcry back then. This was a very good single choice for her debut. Pretty catchy.

Was this even released as a single in the US? I happened to be in Europe that summer and saw the video a ton on MTV there. She was so hot in the video

I don't think Geri ever did anything in the US with her solo material, I only recall Mel C pushing any material there.
EDIT (1 MINUTE LATER): Or maybe none of them did, although I thought Never Be The Same Again/I Turn To You by Mel C had US pushes.

I'm not sure about singles, but Geri's first album got a proper release in the US (it eventually got certified Gold, the only solo Spice record to get a certification in the US) and she actually flew across the pond to promote it on a bunch of different shows.
