This doesn't have an adds date, but it's top 40 already and has a healthy bullet so I figured this would be ok.
He's had a few songs chart on CHR before (including Krazy a few months ago) although none have gone for adds, but this is his first top 40 chart placing. I hear this a lot on KIIS, but they play literally all of his singles so I was surprised to see how well it was doing on other stations as well. Hopefully this can be his first pop hit, I really like it (like most of his singles).

Woops, it isn't featuring Lil' Jon. Bit of a brain fart, I thought I was typing Calle Ocho. Today's radio update: 43 38 PITBULL I Know You Want Me(C... 1111 774 337 7.489

This will probably be his biggest hit ever. The beat is hot.

I like this track. It has been getting some spins on the local dance radio station. That one song by The Bucketheads from the mid '90s called "The Bomb! (These Sounds Fall Into My Mind)" sampled some of those same parts too. I love the original song as well.

Yea, KIIS plays his music a lot. IDK why though, but that's a good thing anyhow. The latin pop stations here in LA are also giving this quite some spins.
This should be his biggest hit, better than 'Krazy;. Although he should've released "Fuego" from his previous album.

I thought it was gonna be better. I don't get the "hook" of the song. The beat is good (thanks to 1995's Bucketheads more than 70's Chicago) but not enough to make it a sizeable hit IMO. It wears thin soon. I still think his major hit is Culo! It was a hit in Latin America but I also hear it quite often in discos in US, especially when I was up in NY. I know it was a Top50 Hot100, but I didn't know it hadn't reached the Top 40 Pop. www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxqaDjEDj5o

My station added this. WTH. They usually wait until songs are top 20.
Anyway, lovin' this!

I didn't like it the first time I heard it, but I'm liking it now.
It kind of bothers me that Pitbull is a one-trick pony: He takes a popular dance song, adds a rap, and makes it a hit. I should hate him but everything he does is so freaking catchy.
He followed the formula with:
The Anthem (Enur's Calabria which in itself was an update of DJ Rune's 2003 song, also covered by Alex Gaudino) Krazy (Federico Franchi's "Cream") I Know You Want Me (Nicola Fasano's "75, Brazil Street" which is based on Bucketheads' "The Bomb")
Culo (not really a dance song but it did have the same rhythm as Mr. Vegas's "Pull Up")
Even the songs he's featured on have dance samples:
Shake (samples "Din Da Da") Move Shake Drop (samples "Satisfaction")

Here's the icing to the cake: Z100 added. :) They didn't play "Krazy", so they must have faith in this track.

I don't understand while all of his singles do so decently. I think all his songs are pretty annoying within a listen or two. "Krazy" was SO annoying. After 2 listens of this, I couldn't take it anymore.

My local Pop station has been playing this song for awhile now. It's annoying and I absolutely hate it. >:(

Will he ever release a song that isn't 100% sampled from a club hit?

So, I did a quick search and it seems that all these songs (and more) are based on the "Coolie Dance Riddim" This link gives some info. about it: www.popshots.org/?p=424

I'm pleasantly surprised at his consistent sales levels. If he keeps those up, and continues his airplay gains, this could end up with some nice chart positions.
