I saw their video and I was very impressed with the song and the singer's voice. I agree that he sounds like Jon Legend which is a plus in my book. I got the CD and it's pretty good. It amused me that they have a song titled "If You See Kay" also a la Britney. These artists, trying to be sneaky.
The only thing I know of the band is that they're Irish, heh.

Yeah, I really like this album. "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" was one of my top songs of last year, and "Breakeven" is looking good for a spot this year.
"The Man Who Can't Be Moved" sounds more Sting than John Legend to me.

I love this album! "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" is actually one of my least favorites, it's nice but that's it. I'm in love with "Breakeven", "Rusty Halo", "Fall For Anything" and "I'm Yours" at the moment.

Terrible, terrible band. It amused me that they have a song titled "If You See Kay" also a la Britney. A la Britney even though this album came out four months earlier than Circus? ;)

From the Billboard 200 thread: 120 135 SCRIPT THE SCRIPT 3,732 4,540 -18 251,735
Maybe TMWCBM will push it enough that it can go gold!

Yeah me too. I was surprised when I saw the number. I figured Breakeven sold a bunch digitally so the album might not have benefited that much.

What do y'all think the single after TMWCBM should be?
My vote goes out to Rusty Halo but I think their label will go for a safer choice a la We Cry.

I just hope The End Where I Begin (and maybe Before the Worst) will be a single.

IMO it's the best Fall/Winter single.

In a just world 'Im Yours' would be released as a single and hit #1 in every country.
Unfortunately we live in a world were Kesha has a record deal.

Which is why the success of Breakeven surprised me so much in the first place. I want "We Cry" as a single. I don't think it's the safe choice at all (I'd say Before The Worst and Talk You Down are safer) but it's my favorite song of theirs.

How many singles do you guys think they'll actually put out from this album? I don't really think they'll put out more than one after TMWCBM. They're already working on the follow-up album and I can't really see where they'll leave a large amount of time between releasing it in Europe and releasing it here.
