It's rather underwhelming. I wish they would've given the song a more radical re-arrangement, instead of just basically adding some piano and replacing the guitar solo with choral sounds. It simply lacks punch.

Given a chance on radio this song could do well. With the BOYS being my favorite artist i am partial to them being successful with this. The song itself is awesome and the arrangement is great!!

I grew up listening to ORB and I own nearly every album they've ever released... but I just can't get into this. Maybe because it's so out of the ordinary for them.
Supposedly, their entire new album is supposed to be a "fresher" "newer" sounding ORB.

Is Jack White involved in the production? I mean, he's doing some country things lately, so, it could be possible.

Jack White is not involved with the ORB version of the song. The producer of the album is Dave Cobb. Early 30's guy who produced Shooter Jennings last album. ORB got hooked up with him by Shooter who had the BOYS sing on his last album. Also Jamey Johnson has a song on the new ORB album called Mama's Table that he wrote for the BOYS. In fact the BOYS had a special on Directv not long ago promoting the new album, as well a QVC special last night, where they sold about 6000 CD's in a 30 minute span, not bad IMO.

The original is my favorite WS song, and this sounds cool too. But yes, very different.
