What's wrong with the cover? It's definitely WAAAAY better than other first singles covers

Wow, that really is bad. I mean not that single covers really matter, but come on now. What really bugs me about it is that even with their current highest profile artist, RCA still can't market an album to save their lives. I mean who runs that label? Seriously.

RCA is a very lazy label. There are exceptions (like their high-profile artists) but they even are lazy with them.

I have no idea. Something they probably found on Photoshop. What is that 'T' in the bottom? Did they forget to deselect a layer in photoshop? lol. OH MAH GOD. LMAO!!! It's so bad it's kinda funny (the label's rush job). Oh RCA.

Well, there goes Shinedown's run with the number one rock song on itunes :( Well if they don't get an Itunes banner I don't think this would go up as high as people are expecting. But then again, there's the Idol performance. very week cover. but i hope the song is good. Yeah, this is a rush job. They just shot their photoshoot last Sunday so I doubt anything can be up by today.

But then again, there's the Idol performance. If Eminem's 3rd single in 3 weeks can go top ten on iTunes, there's no way this is missing the top ten this week, especially with the AI performance. Their first album was so huge, just the sheer momentum coming off of that would be enough to get this to the top ten on iTunes pretty quickly.

Ugh, they should have at least delayed the iTunes thing for a week.

Wow this is superb! I love it instantly. I was expecting it to be very Nickelback sounding but it's far from that in my opinion. Love love love it!

This is great. I think this will roar into the top 10 on here and at HOTAC. Flop on Rock though.

OMG. I love it! It's amazing!
But... why are the vocals so fuckin processed. Chris is a great singer. He doesn't need that ish, RCA! >:(

The Itunes version made me love it even more! I still stand by my opinion that this is catchy, catchy, catchy as heck and quite different from their other efforts. My favorite part is when Chris says "waaay" and "todaaaay" and I love the transition from the bridge to that "silent" verse (or wait, is that the bridge?). ETA: There's no Itunes banner so this might not blow up until after the Idol performance. I would love it if there's a banner beforehand so this could have a headstart. I'm sure the name alone could interest people to buy it. It would be nice to have a banner eventually like other major label new releases but who knows... ???

I can see this being #1 on iTunes after the Idol performance. I hope this starts getting spins today too.

Nope. WIXX/Appleton spun it first last night around 8:05PM, followed by a spin at WRVW around 9:35PM.

This will probably be hit. I don't think it's anything that special though. Ditto. It'll be nice just to hear his voice on the radio again soon.

Not a fan of the title on its own, but once I hear it in the context of the song I'm sure it will resonate. I'm thinking September is the second single b/c of this, but that's obviously just speculation.

I have a feeling "Long Way" is going to be the 2nd single. Depends I guess on their strategy. If they want another upbeat for the 2nd single or go the ballad route. "Long Way" is a smash waiting to happen if it's done right studio wise.

If they follow the formula used for their first album they will slow it down for the second single, which I think is a good strategy for them. I do want them to have one single that REALLY ROCKS out too though. Maybe for the 3rd or 4th single.
