I really don't think this album had any radio hits after Viva La Vida and Lost. Do you think "Lost!" was a radio hit? :o

It went to #1 at Triple A and Top 10 at Alternative. I'd call that a hit.

Being the follow-up to the smash "Viva La Vida", I expected it to do much better...

Well, it didn't go for adds at Pop and couldn't have done any better at Triple A. I expected it to do a little better at Alternative too, but it still helped Viva La Vida become their first album to spawn three Top 10s on the format, so it didn't exactly flop.
If anything, I was expecting "Viva La Vida"'s success to help "Lovers In Japan" do better than scrape the Top 40 on Pop rather than influence the band's standing at Alternative.
