It sounds like a good digital seller to me though. Yea, maybe if all of her fans didn't already own it... Twice. LOL....very good point.

I have very low expectations for this all around. Radio performance, video, just everything.

I have very low expectations for this all around. Radio performance, video, just everything. That's actually probably a good way to go into this. At least you won't be disappointed! lol. I think this will do great on radio. Hot 100 depends on digital sales. The video depends on money/director. We'll see I guess.

Dont see this doing much. Considering all the summer smashes are coming out...there is nothing new or fresh about this song. Gaga has Love Game Bee has Sweet DreamsKaty has Waking up in Vegas Kelly has I Do Not Hook Up Xtina has her first single comingall of these songs are stronger IMO But stranger things have happend By the time Radar gets its official release date these songs will be almost over. i just just see this one getting lost with all the newer songs coming out.

Why not release the tour performance for the video? I think that be awesome. Don't give them any ideas... I think this could have an amazing video. Use the tour choreography, enlist Joseph Khan, and ta-da. You don't think that be hot? They should be able to get some really good shots and edits goin. I think it be pretty cool...and the crowd screaming in the background. Britney needs a new type of video.

I'm glad its not OFU but would have preferred Mannequin.
I bet there will be a re release with a brand new single for the fall!

Three pages already? Holy fck. I don't know what to think about this choice. I could see it going either way.

A live video? bad idea. I mean, we already have the youtube links and we know she's not singing it live, so what's the point? Talking about the video, maybe she's shooting it this week or the next one, before she goes to UK with the Tour.

Well, this is just flat-out stupid. I haven't even listened to this song in over a year when I grew tired of it. I don't understand the purpose of releasing a song from the previous album which was tacked onto the current album as a bonus track. What a bizarre choice.

I think the only sure thing this will NOT do is to sell the album. That said, it might sell the album and surprise us all. But the question is, which album will it help?

I see your point but Hey There Delilah was also an old song that was put as a bonus track on PWT's newer album and look how it turned out to be.

This is a safe summer track for them to release.

This song will not significantly help album sales. It won't even sell itself. And it isn't strong enough, in terms of radio appeal, to overcome either of those obstacles to make this single release worthwhile. Totally pointless.

I wonder if this will be the plan again. Britney Spears' manager Larry Rudolph just confirmed some really exciting news--she's going to be shooting the video for "Radar" sometime next week in Chelsea, London. Larry says, "The theme is her and her girlfriends are going to be looking all around London trying to find a boy who she met in a club. Every time they think they have him its someone else. She will be behind the camera as much as possible, She wants to make sure it's exactly right." music.hollyscoop.com/britney-spears/britney-to-shoot-radar-video-in-london_793.aspx

Safe was the key word on everything regarding the Circus era. That's not necessarily a bad thing though.

Fantastic song but REALLY superfluous as a release.
This was already a single in several countries (Ireland, Russia, Australia, Sweden, New Zealand), so why rerelease it in those places as well? ???
This needs to be huge as it really is "Toxic"'s daughter & "Womanizer"'s mother.

Since everybody seems to be predicting this will flop I bet you it becomes a hit.
It's usually the exact opposite on Pulse.

:PRight because 'If You SEEK Amy" made sense halfway. It was so unique, because usually double entendres work BOTH WAYS. Oh bb, bb, if you seek Amy tonight, oh bb, bb, we'll do whatever you like. Yes, it works both ways.

The best song left on Circus, but also the oldest. The best song or the best single...otherwise that would mean Circus only had 4 good songs.

Everybody thinks it's going to flop because it's old to them. Majority of radio listeners probably don't own the CD (err.. Blackout OR Circus) and it'll be new to them. It was insanely catchy the first time I heard that, and majority of the radio listeners are going to grab on to it I think as we all did at first. I bet this will have no problem going top 10 at the very least.

OH my god... bad news... wtf release a bonus track that was on 2007 album tracklist? Surprised...it was added on the Circus album and one of four songs peformed on tour from the Circus album. Not much of a shock to me. :)

This was coming for a long time: putting it on Circus and then being the only Circus song other than Womanizer, Circus, and If U Seek Amy, performed on tour. That's what I (along with some others) had been saying, but the fans were saying it was only put on the album for contractual reasons and that it wasn't going to be released. I (along with others) said it again when it was the only other song she performed on tour from the album, but again they denied. lol It seemed so obvious. I WAS ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE! I knew Radar was going to be released sometime before this era ends...the signs were all pointing to it. Remixes have been held off from leaking too for a reason. It was put on her Circus album because it was supposed to be the 4th single off Blackout after Break The Ice, but it was scrapped. Now, it's the 4th single off Circus! LOL I think the song will do very well. It will not do as well as Womanizer or Circus, but I know it will do better than If U Seek Amy as far as charts and radio play. I agree that the If U SEE Amy edit ruined it at radio :( Any adds dates for Radar? I can't wait to see the hot music video! I want this one to be absolute Britney dancing her butt off!!!

I'm really getting sick of her now. More upbeat dance crap....we've gotten that from her for the past two years now, she needs to change it up and release UY or OFU. People are going to look at this as just more of the same old Britney formula and not really care about it one way or the other. I have a feeling a lot of people feel the same way and I think this one will miss out on the top 10. She's nothing but a one-trick pony now. Or she is playing to her strengths and releasing songs that will get played on the radio alot. I could easily see a fifth single being UY or OFU. Or I could easily seeing her incorporating a ballad single into her next album era.
