It climbed 6 spots! Are the popularity bars through 30-40 close or something?

They should cut the price to $0.69.
It might resurge back to the Top 20 after that.

Tomorrow's update will be really important, because i don't think there's another week for this to reach a new peak. :'(

I really wish this turns around. Announcing 'Radar' now was a mistake. I don't really think it peaking has anything to do with announcing Radar as the next single as it has been losing spins for some time now. Yeah, blaming a song's performance on the announcement of another song's release is pretty ridiculous. Now if Radar had gone for adds that would be a little different, but even if that was the case, if this song was gonna be #1, it would be #1. Amy's single announcement and early rise on the charts certainly didn't hurt Circus in the least bit.

I knew from the beginning this wasn't going to be a massive hit. Die hard Britney fans loved it, but nonchalant fans really didn't feel it.
Funny thing is my local radio station plays the crap out of it!
I'm definitely ready for this song to be over. I've never really liked it.

All things considered this was about as big as Lucky/Sometimes was so it should feel at home with it's other Max Martin cousins.

people act like this song TANKED or something! so what it wasnt #1, it went top 10 on radio, bout 800,000 in digital sales so far in usa, etc...could have been better, but could have been a lot worse!

Exactly. Obviously is not a big hit, but a moderate one. Top 20 in most important markets like Australia, Canada, Ireland, UK, USA and worldwide, and Top 10 in France :)

This was the crucial point where things could turn around and the song could go back up after the recent 'fiasco', and Jive, IMO, is killing the potential for the song to be salvaged by putting forward an alternative.

But the problem with that is they haven't put forward an alternative. Announcing a single, and sending it for adds are 2 completely different things. I've never known a previous single to suffer just because the next single was announced. Unless you follow Britney, the vast majority, including radio stations don't even know Radar is going to be a single yet. Plus it's not like Radar is already smashing on the charts, so that just proves that Radar is having really no effect on this song's performance right now.

It flopped worldwide but managed to go top 10 on US pop radio and will sell a million downloads eventually. Get over it guys, that's the truth. Take it or leave it.

No doubt about it lol But people should still be pleased, because in this context, this result is great when you consider that it's the 3rd single from a Britney album. People should be comparing this to BTI and then they'd be happy

I wish it keeps on gaining even those 20 spins for the whole week so as it reaches #8. I don't want it to be her worst peaking top 10 single.

It would've been #8 right now if AAR had kept up consistent losses. Over the past two updates, they've only had a -71, which is a good distance from the 100+ losses they'd been seeing throughout the week.

It can go as high as #7 next week as long as I Do Not Hook Up doesn't have many huge updates.

SPINS: 3806 Spins from #1, BEP (-41) 3778 Spins from #2, Lady GaGa (-28) 1002 Spins from #3, Jamie (-58) 665 Spins from #4, Flo Rida (+192) 439 Spins from #5, Shinedown (-55) 261 Spins from #6, Beyonce (-17) 79 Spins from #7, Jesse (+79) 62 Spins from #8, AAR (+65) As you can see by the gap between Britney and Lady GaGa widening, Poker Face gained spins back today -- and more than Britney did.

Provided it at the very least remains stationary spinwise.

128 stations are already playing IUSA. +1 station is a good news. I think #6 peak is possible if Amy can hold with small increases this week.

Why did this do so poorly compared to her previous singles in the UK? Was it the awful radio edit over there?
