I went on a road trip to Nashville this week and was surprised while listening to the radio that I heard My Life so many times. In fact I NEVER heard IDNHU until I got back to NY. It was very weird.
Anyways she rocked that performance!

Anyways she rocked that performance! Same story for me. I went to a family reunion, and we drove so there were a variety of Top 40 stations I heard, and out of the whole trip I heard Suck several times, and IDNHU twice I think. It just proves the public reaction to IDNHU was just not what it needed to befor a 2nd single.

I think its pretty outrageous the rep people have been trying to put on the Clarkson fans around here. Their not as pretentious as the GaGa fans, nor as smug as the Taylor fans, as delusional as the Britney fans or as defensive as the Mariah fans...whether people like it or not, KC gets a lot of methodical, systematic hate around here, mostly from the same people. All I see is the Kelly fans methodically, albeit politely, defending her cause. People tend to get annoyed by that because it's more to take than the usual "OMG UR wrong, smash!!" replies. If you actually look at the incites and replies, you'll see that peddling the KC fans as a bunch of over-zealous, unreasonable droids is a fantasy that some people are trying to peddle and hope will stick.

Off topic (sorry!), but the Slow, Candle light version of LTYH wasn't the original version. That version was the only version KIIS played as well, not the original dance mix. Wow, really? I always thought the dance mix was the remix, since you rarely hear of a dance song getting a ballad remix. It's usually vice versa. That's a thing with the label I think; they knew that some stations wouldn't play the dance versions of the singles they pushed into the mainstream, so ballad versions were done as alternatives so the songs would still get played on those stations.

Although I agree with you, there are a lot of people that only come to the threads to make a hateful comment hoping to spark an argument. Kelly fans are as normal (or abnormal) as any other female act. It's just not wise to pinpoint other type of fans. Everyone will try to protect their favorite artists.

The performance is pretty good, probably the best of this song. She needs to groom herself though. She is a beautiful girl but the hair and the outfit were really unflattering in my opinion.

^ I am guessing not. She went up a few spots over night. This morning I checked and she was #60 (a lot of MJ songs in front of her) and now she is #62! Oops. That isn't the right direction. I am not sure if the 2/3 day rolling chart might take more time to kick in or what. Maybe everyone that wanted to purchase this song already has?

I can't believe a thread was made based on a Tweet, it's FAKE!!!
I thought she sounded GREAT last night. But, I wasn't thrilled with the outfit, and especially her hair. Oh well, she did rock the performance, and had the audience into it.

Hmm, I thought she looked great haha. I'm not saying she looked bad, it's just her hair looked flat to her head or something. maybe she had on those extentions some girls wear, I don't know how to explain it. It just didn't look fluffy, haha

She performed this well last night but, once again, her stylist needs to be shot. The song was already on life support but her wardrobe did her no favors. I went on a road trip to Nashville this week and was surprised while listening to the radio that I heard My Life so many times. In fact I NEVER heard IDNHU until I got back to NY. It was very weird. Anyways she rocked that performance! Strange. I hear IDNHU quite a bit here.

IDNHU is a good song and a fun song, but the SYTYCD performance kind of showcased its limitations. There's only so much even as talented a live performer as Kelly could do with it. I thought it was a very good performance, but the possibility of a really epic live performance like she did with MLWSWY at the MMVA awards was just not possible.
Not getting the hate from some quarters (not just here) for her outfit. I thought she looked glamorous and sexy. She's pretty no matter what she wears, but she's never gonna be 23 again and fashion has never been her thing. There's nothing Kelly can do to hide her hips & thighs, that's the way she's built and either you like the big booty look or you do not. But she wore something that gave her a waist and covered her arms a little. That's all you can ask.

I kinda felt that something was missing, but I couldn't put my finger on it. You're absolutely right, though - the song is not as "epic". I still really like this song... I just wished they did something in production that would have pushed it further. (Heavier guitars, a "louder" chorus, etc.)

Kelly clarkson will not be number one because she does not look so sexy as lady gaga and britney spears who is very hot and sexy clothes. Kelly clarkson looks boring but maybe good personality so will never be popular around the world

Britney's image is part of her success, yes, but it's not the only reason she's famous. Her music has a lot to do with it, whether you like it or not.

That's a head-scratcher to me, but to each his own. I think Lady Gaga looks like a drag queen, which is not my thing.
