There's no way they're dropping her. She just had a top 10 this year with Battlefield and she had a solid debut. They're at least giving her a third album.

There is no way they are going to drop Jordin. If they drop Jordin for her sales then they will have to drop 80% of the artists on their roster. Plus, Jordin has done quite well overseas. Only Kelly and Jordin (of the idols) have done well worldwide. Jordin has had five sizeable hits in the UK, and all over Europe. She has also done well in Australia. Also, Jordin has had 4 huge hits in the US. And her first "flop" on pop radio at least it went #1 on the dance chart (which does mean something) and did/is doing quite well overseas. Jordin has sold 9,000,000 downloads in the US alone, and 1.2 million albums.

I wouldn't say it's doing well overseas, it was a hit in Sweden (#5), UK (#13), and Netherlands (#15), but it flopped in Canada (#46), Ireland (#36), Australia (#54), the US and that's pretty much it when it comes to the biggest markets of the music industry. Yet, my point is still standing, she did well with the first single and her last album. There's no way she's getting dropped. Also, it seems like the whole American Idol thing suffered this year. Kelly did so so with album, this season winner, runner up and 4th placer are flopping on the album market and only Kris has a single doing ok at radio at the moment. Jordin might be just suffering a bit from that too.

^ Don't forget that it also went #1 in Bulgaria. It definitely well good overseas, it was a well-sized hit in several countries. (including in the UK, which counts the most)

I was paranoid at first, but I don't think they'll drop her. She sold 25k less than Kris Allen in the middle of July, while he released during the holiday shopping season, with a sizable top 40 hit, good promotion, and coming fresh off American Idol.
I do wish they would release a 3rd single for the U.S., but I'm still doubting it. Glad that the UK is getting a 3rd single. Hopefully Jordin/ Jive have a video in mind, it would be a shame if the single didn't get one.

This song was a horrible decision as a single. I don't see how anyone couldn't have seen that. Sad thing is, 80% of her album is Top 40 hit material. Hope she gets a 3rd single. Preferably, It Takes More.

^ Don't forget that it also went #1 in Bulgaria. lulz. Also, hate to rain on any parades, but I wouldn't consider her to have an "amazing" track record because 4 out of 5 singles went top 10 when one couldn't even crack the top 30. That's a good chart run, but amazing? Doubt it. Plus, radio seems to be done with her considering her lead single off her second album charted lowest of her top 10 singles.

Your first 4 singles going top 10 on pop is definitely an accomplishment. Yeah, several others have done it before, but the list isn't that big. No doubt she could have easily extended it to 6 or 7 with the right single choices from Battlefield. As I said, SOS certainly was not one of the right single choices.

Still a great choice .. lots of reason why this hasn't taken off... still keep in mind it's been top 10 in 3 countries ! and to me this is stylisticly far of from Lady Gaga or Ke$ha in their 80's style ....

^ Don't forget that it also went #1 in Bulgaria. Oh come on, Bulgaria does count but it's not a big music market. It would be the same if it went to #1 on the North Pole. Horrible year for Jive. Chris Brown might be able to top Ciara, but he's pulling bad numbers too.

Walking on Snow is NOT the third single! Yay! According to Jordin's tweet today, she 'hopes it can be a single in the future'. :)

According to Jordin's tweet today, she 'hopes it can be a single in the future'. :) She doesn't say it's NOT the third single, she's just saying she hopes it will be one eventually. Meaning that it could indeed be the next single, she's just not trying to spoil anything.

:( I thought Walking On Snow could have been a hit. I would have liked it next, perfect for winter too. ITM or NP then.

Jordin wouldn't say that "she hopes it can be a future single" when she knows that we're all wondering what the 3rd single is just to try and not to spoil us -- I think she's trying to give us a clue, actually.

Charlie Wilson is probably in the 150k range. And Three Days Grace should be at around 200k.

I don't get what we're all contemplating about. Isn't the third single confirmed to be "Don't Let It Go to Your Head" already? Seriously, Jordin fans are so delirious sometimes.

She's never had different singles for US/overseas. I don't see any reason to think differently now.

She's never had different singles for US/overseas. I don't see any reason to think differently now. It only got a release date for the UK and I recall Veton saying that a source told him that Don't Let It Go To Your Head wasn't the US single. Also, there's always a first time for everything, so the "she never had different singles for US/overseas" argument doesn't seem enough for me to think that DLIGTYH is the US single..

Watch You Go should be the 3rd single! They should send it for Rhythmic and Urban adds as well..
