I guess it must be mostly the non Pink fans that like this, because all the Pink fans I personally know, agree this is one of the weakest on the album. *** It doesn't? How is this thread open? It's listed under Cool New Music on Allaccess.

I would say it is the opposite, but then again the only Pink fans I know are on here. I would say Pink fans on here like Funhouse and argued for it to be a single over other songs on the album. Most non-Pink fans I know preferred Its All Your Fault or Bad Influence.

I find a lot of her fans on here are from overseas minus a few so its hard to judge what would be BIG on US radio. Its undeniable that this is extremely catchy but the finished product is sub par to say the least.

It would make sense because I always think that the fans here miss the mark on singles they want for American radio. Like, when people wanted Glitter in the Air and I Don't Believe you released as two last singles or something Two great songs that would absolutely NOT work on American radio.

I find a lot of them are, the big fans anyway (not all of em obviously ).. Yeah, I was BIG on IDBY but it was cause I was going through the same thing at that time and it really touched home and I thought it was her most beautiful ballad shes ever made but now I listen to it and I dont think it would suit radio but its definitely a gem.. Glitter could work on AC type formats, only. People also really get excited at songs the first lil while theyre released and then the hype goes down.

Going for adds August 25th. Seems a little late, but I guess they want "Please Don't Leave Me" to die down a bit first.

This is gonna be the song that ruins her top 10 streak unfortunately.

^^ I agree... although it could surprise us all and become her biggest hit also. I just hope IAYF and BI get released!

I hate when everyone this will flop. This will got top 20 at least. This is one them songs that either smash or flops. Look at "Waking Up In Vegas" No one expected it to go to number one. I did. ;)

This will be a hit. I can feel it. Its definitely something different for her, but I think she kind of needs that at this point in her career. You know how many non-Pink fans I know that think she only does songs like So What/Who Knew? A lot. Not very many people realize how diverse she actually is.

How is this really much different from her So What/U+Ur Hand/Get This Party Started type songs though?

This is gonna be the song that ruins her top 10 streak unfortunately. Amazingly enough, for some artists there is more to their careers than how many top 10s they can rack up. This may come as big news to many of you here. Funhouse is simply a good song even though it may not be guaranteed to break the top 10 -- the horror! :o

This song reminds me of The Ting Tings' "Shut Up and Let Me Go". It's just me though, I guess. ;)
Anyway, chart performance thus far:
Australia - #6 (4th week and bulleted) New Zealand - #18 (debut this week) UK - #43

I would love to see IAYF as the final single to close out the era, but we'll see. I've heard rumblings that this will be the final single.
OZ/NZ got "Bad Influence" so I don't think the rest of the world will be getting it.

I love IAYF...but I always thought IDBI shuold be a single...meybe the last one.
I know it's very slow...but i'ts a beatiful song and one of the best Pink ballads.
I enjoy Funnhouse...but it's one of my least played tracks. Maybe it will grow on me...

So I think it should do just fine on pop.

^ WUIV is indeed a piece of shit, however it's way better suited to radio than this. That being said, I expect this to crack the top 10.

Well if you think that then dont you think it would do the opposite on radio? lol Cause if you think WUIV is a pos and it went #1 then Funhouse should bomb, no?

^LOL! I see what you're getting at, but that logic doesn't work. It doesn't matter what we on a message board think.
Also, you guys have to remember that her label did a rate the music survey. If this turned in poor reviews, why would they decide to release it? LOL!

Ok, that just proves to me even more that some Pink fans have a hard time understanding what works on American radio. WUIV is quite possibly the most radio friendly song Katy has ever released. It was absolutely perfect for American radio and the only reason people predicted it would not do that well is that she was coming off a flop last single. Most people wanted it for the first, second, or even third singles throughout the course of the era. Hating it does not automatically make it bad for radio or "no one knows why it did well"-liking a song on the cd, on the reverse side, does NOT make it suited for American radio.
That being said, I have a feeling Funhouse will be the lowest peaking of all of the singles from Funhouse, but I am hoping it gets up to at least the 7-10 mark. It is catchy and quirky which radio likes in Pink.
