^I agree! Ok, that just proves to me even more that some Pink fans have a hard time understanding what works on American radio. I dont think its necessarily P!nk fans that are stating that. lol

Who said Waking Up In Vegas would be a flop!? LMAO! It is a song that may not be as instant as her first two singles but lasts within people's minds and thus it blew up well. I am happy it did.
And thanks Grag for answering that!

This is kind of weird. It's easily my least favorite Pink song this era. :(

Problem is American radio and fans right now are just retarded when it comes to quality music and that's the honest truth. It's both sad and kind of funny at the same time.

I see this peaking in the 10-14 range on Pop. Not bad really for a fourth single. Hopefully it continues selling the album like all of the previous singles have done.

Well, so far Sober broke her #1 streak, Please Don't Leave Me broke her Top 5 streak, but will this break her Top 10 streak?

LMAO! I didn't think of it that way, but you're right. HAHAHA! That was very pessimistic of me. And I hope this is a #1 smash!

We can also look at this era as a major success. Who wouldn't want three consecutive top ten hits on POP? All with great longevity I might add! I hope this takes off... any word on spins?

Ok, so I've had an epiphany and decided that I love this song. No idea what happened. I've heard it plenty of times before, it has just finally stuck with me. I did not agree with this single choice, but it is SO weird/different...I love it!

After "So What!" everything sort of just saled by. I think "Sober" should've been a much bigger hit than it turned out to be.

Ok, that just proves to me even more that some Pink fans have a hard time understanding what works on American radio. WUIV is quite possibly the most radio friendly song Katy has ever released. It was absolutely perfect for American radio and the only reason people predicted it would not do that well is that she was coming off a flop last single. Most people wanted it for the first, second, or even third singles throughout the course of the era. Hating it does not automatically make it bad for radio or "no one knows why it did well"-liking a song on the cd, on the reverse side, does NOT make it suited for American radio. That doesn't explain why WUIV hit #1 on airplay in the US and yet mostly flopped elsewhere in the world. It's not as if it was driven by Itunes sales or anything, the sales were lukewarm. I'm not a Katy H@ta, I like Katy, but this was distinctly odd.

And I thought sales were actually very good for WUIV...it was a 4th single. All this WUIV discussion could really go in the Katy thread.

Well imo her songs have all done great on radio and has sold the album just downloads havent been amazing but thats ok imo cause most likely theyll all be platinum, top 10 on pop and hac, with a platinum album. As for IDBY, I dont think it should be a single. I think it would bomb on radio.. but thats just me. Id go with Mean b4 that.. Im starting to get over IAYF as well but Id still go with either of those b4 IDBY.

LOL her singles have done great. 3 top 6 singles is great, especially with the competition she had to deal with after So What.
