The version that I'm hearing on the radio is different from the album version and I can't seem to find out what this version is called. It's not any of the mixes on the -itunes EP, and it's not 100% different from the album version, but different nonetheless. And better, in my opinion. Has anyone else heard this? I think I know what version you're referring to and I absolutely hate it Only one of my local pop stations insists on playing it (and another station sometimes too) and I find the production takes away from the song so I much rather the album version.

^ Of course. If US radio ever agrees to play something remotely interesting they insist on filtering all the interesting elements out of it then tacking a 30-second rap on the end.

I hope this does well. This is probably GaGa's most refreshingly different single to date and I don't think it's as CHR-ready as her previous three singles. So it catches on.

Rick Dees played a drop of it this weekend. It's the #1 song in Australia :)

I predict Top10-Top15 on CHR ;) That's lower than what i predict. I think it's going to reach top 5, and dependeing on the other songs it could go #1. yeah, I would love this one to be her 4th #1 on CHR and I may seem pessimistic, but I like to predict as lower as possible and if the song peaks higher and I'm wrong, great xD ;)

I'd be REALLY surprised if this didn't end up being her fourth #1. It's miles better than 'PF' and 'LG'.

It might not go #1 but it just cannot miss the top 5. She has too much hype and the song is too good.

Going to pull a Thinking Of You--peak at #7 give or take a spot. Best of her singles, but least immediate for many people.

^How would #7 be pulling a Thinking of You? TOY peaked 10 spots lower than that.
If this underperforms it will be a crime, it's a million times better than any other single of hers. This is definitely not missing the top 10, IMO.

This is such a dumb and frustrating choice. this will NOT go to number one. It's clearly the most overrated song on the album, and Gaga's peeps bought into the hype and decided to release it.
Starsturck should've been fourth. Followed by Boys Boys Boys, Paper Gangsta, or Money Honey. Why Paparazzi? So confusing,

BBB is too gay for radio, PG sucks, and MH is a load of shit.

But God forbid she actually steps out of the box... It's amusing how people always barge into threads of generally popular, well-liked songs and state the song sucks and the label is just "buying into the hype". Maybe, just *maybe*, the hype is because the majority of people like it, and just because *you* don't doesn't mean it's a future flop.

For some reason, I see #15... i think Funhouse is much stronger to hit no.1 than this and Gaga's song is tiring somehow. dunno but i like this.

I hated this when I first heard it. It grew on me, I loved it for about a week, and now it's just 'meh' for me. I would say PF>LG=P>JD.

For me, it would be:
'Paparazzi' > 'Just Dance' >>>>>>>> 'Poker Face' >> 'LoveGame'

Maybe, just *maybe*, the hype is because the majority of people like it, and just because *you* don't doesn't mean it's a future flop. Paparazzi sounds like filler to me. One of the worst songs on the album. But this is the same Gaga that made a video for BDR- arguably the worst song on the album. So this should come as no surprise. And I'm sorry I don't think about *favorites.* There are songs I love that I don't believe should be singles. I love Brown Eyes, The Fame and Eh Eh, but would hate for them to be US singles. We're talking about catchy radio friendly songs. Paparazzi is not one of them. It's release will break her streak. I predict a top 15 finish, but only from riding the coat tails of LG. Starstruck would've surely hit number one. If that song doesn't see the light of day, then she shouldn't have bothered recording it.
