Um...why not do this for 'I Did It For Love' or 'Touched' or 'Eat You Up?' 'Energetic' is good, but there are plenty of more radio friendly tracks...'Scream,'

SO, i can't find any mediabase info for this song. It's really bugging me. Do you have to register songs with Mediabase?
Only two songs from her album are on Mediabase, "Eat You Up" and "I Did It For Love", yet I know this song has gotten airplay since i've heard it and other people have told me they heard it as well.
So what's up with that?

I really like the video. However, I wish she would just stop trying to make the cornrows look work. It doesn't.
I really would like to see her do well in America. It's kinda sad how all the Asian artists that have recently attempted to breakthrough in America have mostly failed.

It's kinda sad how all the Asian artists that have recently attempted to breakthrough in America have mostly failed. Well Jay Sean is British Asian and he has the #3 song on iTunes right now. But none of the East Asian artists have been able to make the Hot 100.

^ Yeah he doesn't count 'cause he's Indian.
America never fought a major war with India. They never made terrorist attacks on us. Americans aren't nearly as prejudice to Indians as they are to other East Asians.

Americans aren't nearly as prejudice to Indians as they are to other East Asians. I also think that most people don't always know he's South Asian, they probably think he's hispanic. LOL. As far as the East Asians - they clearly cannot be mistaken for another race, there's no hiding that...and there's also a smaller Asian-American population than Hispanic, Black, etc. That probably attributes to it as well...If you think about it...only about 2% of the US population is East Asian...The other 2% is South Asian, so they're not an audience for BoA, Rain, Se7en, Utada, etc. However, South Asians like Pakistanis are discriminated in America...

either that racist mess or its because these songs that are trying to break into the market arent hit worthy at all? Im all for fighting against racism but to be honest, if any big top 40 artist released this, it would be called underwhelming and boring. She is not going to cut it because she does not have the mentality or the resources of an american label. If Beyonce were asian and released the music she does she would be just as popular, maybe even more popular because of her broader demographic appeal. People take this racism nonsense too far usually. They use racism as an excuse for someone not being successful which is rarely true in terms of music. I have not heard a song from an artist from any of these countries people claim are discriminated against that would be successful by an american artist releasing it who was new. They are different cultures with different appeals. Its not discrimination to be more inclined to something and thus its popularity. Its not like we are trying to have a "world" radio. The point is to have the most popular music from the perspective of an american listener. Point in case, underground is less prejudice than anything mainstream and BoA is not breaking in there either at all. If "south asians ad Pakistanis" want a hit, they need to bring it and make racism the issue. Once they present something worthy, then its a discussion. I hate saying "they" because i think it sounds ridiculous because we are all humans but i am doing it in an effort to differentiate in terms of music purely. :)

I agree that racism is not at all a part of the reason why BoA, Utada, the Wonder Girls, insert-Asian-artist's-name-here are not successful in America. I was just saying it's disappointing that these East Asian acts haven't broken through yet, because I just like their music. :)
