FIO spends a 2nd week in the top 10, at #8 with 28k sold.

^ What's promo doing? I can only imagine people prejudice the album as the millionth 00's girl group trash. With the whole image, the dancing etc. Marketing needs to take care of such. Out of the cliched, into the good.

I want them to get a rent-a-rapper for their next single. I'd say that's exactly why stuff like this isn't performing. People are turned off from music. They don't even bother checking in no more, all the industry has sold is IMO LQ Hip Pop material throughout the decade. They assume this is no exception. That's where marketing fails. They need to re-alert the average music buyer. People need to be aware of good music before they can make that purchase. |

This is a very strong album. I'd say it's just as good as Chasing Lights, perhaps better. Surprisingly, I thought that Wordshaker was my least favorite track, but even the weaker material is still better than your average pop. Their voices are strong, the hooks are solid, and the production is pretty impressive. I highly recommend both albums if you like fun pop that you can put on repeat. Can't stop listening to it.

I didn't get you wrong, I'm using your post to make an example. ;) But, I do have to disagree that they should get some cheap rapper to get them noticed. It'll give them exposure to the Hip Pop audience, a minority group of mainly young teens promoted into the defaults of the industry. But it'll prove the image of bad quality girl groups, or bad quality music overall to the general audience. Won't do them any favors. IMO. |

This single better get the album back into the charts. It boggles my mind how they can have hit singles and make a great album but it perform so poorly.

Love the video! I've come to the conclusion, Ego is one of if not the best pop song released this year. It's so damn catchy! I would love it if they used it in a promo in the US and it eventually crossed over somehow  |
