Not a fan of "Forever Is Over", but that's a pretty awesome album cover.

This reeks of floppage but I'll still support them. I have no doubt this album will be miles better than Chasing Lights which was already a great album. I just can't believe the promo for the album is zero considering the release date is so near.

I LOVE Forever is Over. It sounds so much more stable and mature than their previous singles. Hope they have a lot of hits with this album.

My album review: 1. Forever is Over - The 1st single. Love it! I love the way it starts out slow, perfect beginning to the album. And so much more mature than their other stuff. Very grown up. Album version is a little longer than the single version, but is otherwise the same. There is an additional bit of ad-libs at the beginning. 2. Here Standing - The piano in this song is beautiful. Then the beat kicks in and turns into a sort of power ballad/midtempo. Vocals are great! Could possibly see this as a single at some point. 3. Ego - Uptempo. Hard club beat with alot of electronic sounds in the versus. Good vocals. May be kind of a grower (imo.) Good pop though. Only 2:59. 4. - No One - Another ballad. Not loving this so much. It's ok. Deinitely just an album track. 5. One Shot - HOT beat. Uptempo and dancy/clubbish. Vocals are a bit sexy. Honestly, this kinda reminds me of Gaga's Pokerface, arrangement and vocal wise, but it's still different enough to hold its own. Could see this as a single as well. Love it! 6. Wordshaker - Mid-tempo/ almost uptempo title track. Like it. Good production. Not really spectacular, but not bad either. 7. Denial - Nice ballad. Love the chorus because it goes from just a regular ballad to powerful. Like the lyrics here too. Vocals at the end of the song are amazing. 8. Open Up - Uptempo. Lyrics are about her boyfriend locking her out of the house after a fight and she's apologizing through the door saying she won't do it again, lol. "Open up the damn door" Love it. This would make a cute video. 9. Lose Control - Has a similar feel to Britney's IUSA beat wise. Music kinda overshadows the vocals to me on this one. 10. Not Good Enough - A mid-tempo ballady song. I think I would've preferred them not yelling "not good enough" repeatedly at the beginning. But it still good. Vocals are good, as always. 11. Deeper - Another ballady mid-tempo. Nothing really spectacular. Good song tho. Good harmonizing on the chorus. 12. 2 a.m. - This is an interesting song. Sounds almost out of place if you ask me. But it is good. Mid-tempo. This is the most bubblegum sounding song on here. Overall, great album! Vocals are awesome. I like at least like all the songs, most of them I love. My single choices: Forever is Over One Shot Here Standing Lose Control

After listening to the album a number of times, I could unbiasedly say that is definitely a step up Chasing Lights.
The vocals and production are stronger, crisper. The melodies and hooks are catchier and the album is more cohesive than Chasing Lights. It may be a bit generic as some of you say, but it's good ol' pop at the end of the day.
I could see Here Standing, Ego, One Shot, Wordshaker and Open Up as future singles.
Deeper, is the only dud of the album, which is pretty much like Vulnerable from the last album only with better production.
2AM reminds me of Why Me Why Now.
Wordshaker is a cousin of Work, as is No One with Keep Her.
All in all, I love the album.

The album is so good :) I didn't like Chasing Lights as an album, just a few tracks but I can easily say I enjoy all the songs on Wordshaker.

"Forever Is Over" is pretty catchy. I read that it was supposed to be a song for Kelly Clarkson a while ago? Is that true?
Their live performances seriously need work. I saw one of them on Paul O'Grady and only like, two of them sounded remotely decent. I actually LOL'd when the first chorus came on cause it was so many pitches all over the place heh. Their one from This Morning or whatever show it was from the other day wasn't much better. They basically sang over the album track except for one girl. Hopefully they'll pull it together as the promo goes on.

FIO is turning to be a hit. It's currently #2 in the midweeks!
FIO was written by Watters and Biancanello who worked with Kelly in AIEW, so its possible that the song could have been given to her first.

I've listened to the album 2 full times since last night, and I really quite like it. It's a very strong album, and there isn't a single bad song on the album. I'm impressed. :)

I love this album. I loved Chasing Lights aswell but this is so much stronger. Every songs is enjoyable, Open Up, Denial and Not Good Enough are the top3 for me. I hope they become singles somewhere down the line.

Most of the songs in WS seem to be an improved version of the songs in Chasing Lights.
Wordshaker is a cousin of Work. Deeper is a much better version of Vulnerable. Denial is a synthed up version of Chasing Lights with more punch and stronger vocals. 2AM is the bubblegum pop version of Why Me Why Now.
I think the singles should be
2nd - Here Standing 3rd - Ego or One Shot 4th - Open Up

Ok choice. Though I think One Shot would be better. I wonder if there will be an extended mix of it.

It's good to see they have successfully avoided the sophomore slump!
