There is one part of the song where you can hear Maren Morris solo (at around the second verse she goes "Walk Away from") so technically speaking she does have a #1 and I believe it should count.
But this is your thread so have more power at it with your views on what qualifies as a #1 song.

She can be heard prominently throughout the second verse, every chorus, and the bridge towards the end. She deserves her feature status on this song, even though I still would have liked to see her part amplified.

If BB is going to give her a #1 then they need to give Dierks a top 10 for "Flatliner". He is more prominently heard on that song than Maren is on "Craving You". I don't know what BB's rules are but they suck whatever they are.

I think in the case of "Flatliner" the label sent it to radio as a Cole Swindell single solo so Billboard is just doing what the label wants.

I've probably said this before in this thread but I can't help but wonder how high Keith Whitley would've been on this list had he not died so young. That man is my all time favorite singer!

I have updated Justin Moore's #1s totals to six with Somebody Else Will. Congratulations, Justin! He becomes the first artist to score that many #1s and NOT gain entry into the top 100. For him to do so, he will have to score a seventh chart topping hit so I can move him from #101 to #85.

"Kinda Don't Care" his next single is a smash waiting to happen and I think it will go #1.

RIP to Hall of Fame legend Don Williams and Troy Gentry of Montgomery Gentry. Don is one of my all time favorites and "We've Got A Good Fire Goin" is my favorite song of his. If it's not too much to ask can I have a list of Don's biggest hits. Thanks!

He's another favorite artist of mine from the 80's that's rarely talked about. He had a great voice and loved the song "Brotherly Love" with Keith Whitley!

I have updated Kenny Chesney's #1s totals to 28 with All The Pretty Girls. Congratulations, Kenny! Which ties him with Tim McGraw for the lead among actively recording and airplaying artists. About a year ago, I did not think that Kenny would catch Tim. As someone who is a former detester of both of them, I say congratulations and keep the hits coming!

I have updated Blake Shelton's #1s totals to twenty-five with I'll Name The Dogs. Congratulations, Blake! Now, let us analyze his section of the list:
10. Alan Jackson-26-1991-2010-HOF 11. Dolly Parton-25-1971-2006-HOF 12. Reba McEntire-25-1983-2011-HOF 13. Blake Shelton-25-2001-2017
Shelton remains at the #13 spot because he became the 13th artist with at least 24 #1s to the 13th artist with at least 25 #1s. For him to pass Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire, he would have to get chart topper #26. That would push Parton down to #12 and McEntire to #13. For Shelton to gain entry into the top ten, he would have to collect chart topper #27. Once he does that, Alan Jackson will be kicked out of the top ten. Like I said before, 2018 will be an interesting year for Shelton.

Who are the top 5 with most #1’s this decade? I’m just wondering if Chris Young is in the top 5.

Florida Georgia Line-11 I went a little further, but Chris Young's eight #1s would rank him #11 for the decade. Hope this was helpful!

Blake will pass Kenny and Tim soon on the all time list I’m sure. If not this album definitely the next album he will.

Interesting note: With “I’ll Name The Dogs” hitting Number 1 Blake becomes only the third artist in history to score 20 number ones in a decade. Only Conway Twitty with his 25 #1’s in the 70’s And Alabama with their 26 #1’s in the 80’s are ahead of him. He could at least tie Conway if he releases another album before the end of 2019.

onebuffalo I was checking out George Strait’s hits on Billboard and they have “Write This Down” as his biggest hit ever. Do they base this off weeks spent at #1? I like that song but you’d think something more popular like “Check Yes Or No” or “Love Without End, Amen” would be his biggest hit.

I like that song but you’d think something more popular like “Check Yes Or No” or “Love Without End, Amen” would be his biggest hit. I am not aware of Billboard ranking George Strait's hits. I did rank Strait's biggest hits back in February, 2010 in one of my columns. I will repeat it here for you (just the top ten): 7. THEIR TEN BIGGEST: Let's review. Al Dexter had the most #1 hits between 1944-1948. Then Eddy Arnold had the most between 1948-1980. Conway Twitty took over between 1980-2006. Now, we have come to the current artist with the most #1s over the past three and a half years, George Strait. These are his ten biggest. First number is weeks at #1, followed by the second number-weeks in the top 40. 1. Love Without End, Amen-1990-5-20 2. One Night At A Time-1997-5-20 3. I've Come To Expect It From You-1990-5-19 4. Write This Down-1999-4-32 5. Check Yes Or No-1995-4-18 6. Carrying Your Love With Me-1997-4-16 7. The Best Day-2000-3-27 8. I Just Want To Dance With You-1998-3-21 9. You Know Me Better Than That-1991-3-19 10. Carried Away-1996-3-14 I think they feel the Write This Down is his biggest hit just by looking how long it stayed on the charts. If you take a look at my list, it spent 32 weeks in the top 40 portion of the chart. If they did rank his hits, I would love to know what their top ten looks like. If you could provide the link, that would be great. So far, he doesn't appear in my thread (link provided). If he did, I would love to add him to the list. Here it is: pulsemusic.proboards.com/thread/140550/billboards-lists
