He needs to work on his voice a bit. Understatement. Isn't his Dad his vocal coach or something? He needs a new one--like, a real one. His voice sounds damaged.

Well, I hope this is the end of the Jonas Brothers too. They're still big over here, so they need to disband ASAP.

Are the JoBros even big anymore? I know my teen sister loved them, but she hasn't mentioned them in quite some time. She's moved on to Justin Bieber.

Are the JoBros even big anymore? I know my teen sister loved them, but she hasn't mentioned them in quite some time. She's moved on to Justin Bieber. Well their last album is barely above 500K. For a band that sold like platinum and a half last album and had a mega sold out tour, that's odd. I realize they didn't have any hits off of the last album, but they barely had one hit off of their last one, too, and that didn't seem to hurt them any. They were so big, so overexposed, so everywhere, that they became a fad for tweens and teens. Just like Beiber is now a fad. That's why as a young artist you want young fans, but you want them to love you for reasons other than being the "new hot thing" that all the girls love. Loving you because it's the "in" thing to do rather than much of anything substantive in your talent as a musician. Not saying JoBros aren't talented. As songwriters they are. As singers they are merely substandard. With Beiber, he has the potential to be a decent singer (who knows after the voice change), but his songs are like standard stock pop-R&B tracks designed to appeal primarily to tween girls. IMO, neither are loved for some potential long-term musical investment or loyalty (although I'm sure their fans think they're long term right now), but because they are "in" at the current moment. That's dangerous, and why the JoBros are fading. Fads die. Props to Nick for trying to venture out musically to try and score new, more invested, fans. But, sadly for him it's not working. The music and his voice just aren't there to make it without all the mega-hype and promotion given to the Jonas Brothers as an entity.

I read they made 70 million dollars last year- that's a lot of money- must be that tour, no wonder he gets vanity projects like this.
