I waited to post this, but it's looking more and more legit now. It looks like there is a "world premiere" date set for December 3rd.  An official cover art for Nick Jonas' new single with The Administration, has been found, capturing the youngest member of the Jonas Brothers holding his guitar. In addition to the artwork, snippet of the song called "Who I Am" has also been unleashed. The single is scheduled to be released on December 3. Previously Nick described his music as "heart & soul." Of that matter, he explained, "Because the music that I make is from my heart, and the lyrics I write are from my soul." The album is yet to have a working title, but several reports suggest it may carry the same title as the newly-revealed song. Other materials remain under wraps. Kevin Jonas has revealed that Nick also covered Jonas Brothers' single "Tonight" for the album. He said, "It's really wonderful. Can't wait for you to hear the record. We're beyond excited about this side project!" Snippet of "Who I Am" can be streamed on Amazon. An official site for the project has also been launched. |

I could see this going top 20 based on the hype, but this is coming from 3 deserved flops in a row for the Jonas (Lovebug, Paranoid and that other song from their new album that flopped even harder) so it will have a hard time on radio.

The clip of this sounded surprisingly okay, although the instrumental strongly reminds me of another song I can't quite put my finger on.

Hmm. As much as I might not like the Jonas Brothers, this guy is pretty okay all by himself (IMO). Haven't heard the snippet but I think he might do better than with his brothers if he went solo.

I mean seriously, even Ciara would be a better collab and you know she doesn't have any more money for payola so she'd jump at the chance to work with the big guys from the #1 source for music charts and discussion in hopes of getting a positive word spread. |

This sounds more like a Hot AC record, but I like it. I think it sounds very Hanson-ish. Hanson are the kings of super-catchy power pop hooks. If this is Hanson-ish, then it's Hanson writing a song while drunk at 3am in the morning, waking up the next morning, realizing it was the most mediocre song they've ever written and then sending it off to that little Jonas because he wouldn't know the difference and would wind up just screeching his way through it anyway. |

Did "Fly With Me" even get sent for adds? All I remember was the "music video." Why are these deserved flops anyway? Just because you don't like them? They worked hard to get where they are at. (So have a lot more talented people who haven't even made a dent... blah... blah... blah.) Anyway I like this song a lot actually. Nick going solo may not be a terrible thing. |

The song starts when sound is heard, and ends when there is silence duh! I know that, but it was meant to say that the song (at least live) was extremely repetitive. I heard the studio version and it's not much better and this might as well be another Jonas Brothers album. Unless there was a bit of a shock factor from this song being different, which there wasn't, I don't see why this is even a side project. |

In the past, he had displayed songwriting talent, and it looked like he had potential to be a solo star- but this is horrid- terrible offering of himself as a solo performer. It's just not a good song- and i'm wondering if he thinks his own persona is so interesting- people will be drawn to the fact that he may be talking about himself here- as if it is some big revelation that he wants to be loved for himself and not for his money or stardom not realizing he is not that important for people to care that much about what he thinks about himself.
if he can't come up with something better than this, he can forget a solo career- it really is awful.

Their strength lies in songwriting (although this song is nothing special). They should settle into a nice life of making songs for other people to sing. |
