KeKe Wyatt returns Feb. 23 - Listen to sneak peek! It's been eight years, and soul music fans are chomping at the bit to hear new music by KeKe Wyatt. The KeKe drought ends on February 23, 2010, with the Shanachie Entertainment release of KeKe's highly anticipated new CD, Who Knew? Wyatt rose to fame at age 16 with her duet with Avant on "My First Love" and her hot 2001 debut album Soul Sister. Fans have been anxiously waiting ever since for her sophomore album. "We are extremely excited to be bringing out KEKE'S new music," states Shanachie Entertainment General Manager and Head of A&R, Randall Grass. "She is one of the outstanding singers of her generation and is recognized as a true singer. KEKE achieved success at a young age and now she is poised for even greater success." We've heard an advance of Who Knew? and it is hot. An album principally looking at relationships via a number of strong ballads and upbeat numbers, it should connect in a big way with adult soul audiences. Even though the disc won't be released for a couple months, we have a great sneak peek for SoulTrackers, which fits the holiday season. It is KeKe's version of the Rachelle Ferrell composition, "Peace On Earth." Click below to hear it. www.soultracks.com/story-keke-wyatt-who-knew

Shanachie is not a contemporary R&B label at all so it'll be interesting to see how well they do with her.

Album is too ballad heavy for me. I know she can sing but I like balance and tempo.

Sounds like the real deal to me. I'm pleasantly surprised to find an album like this here. This is what I call true R&B. It has the Soul that's missing in the Hip Hop/Pop mixture sold last decade. Music like this I appreciate a lot. I'll be supporting this one.

$14.99 on Amazon is a ridiculous price and her single has gotten absolutely zero radio play because the label never sent it out. Sabotaged already.

Who Knew? Never Do It Again Daydreaming Weakest Peace on Earth Getting It
It's actually a lot better than I thought and it angers me that Shanachie didn't attempt to get her any kind of radio play, especially considering the fact that Tank and The Underdogs produced the single. Urban AC would've eaten it up!

Zero promotion...I saw the CD at Target. The packaging looks cheap and the cover, while I see where they were coming from, leaves much to be desired.

She sold less than 3k. Shanachie is a terrible label. She could've easily gotten 10k had they bothered promoting her.

Heard she's still bitter about not making the final cut of Destiny's Child in Houston in the 90's.

Nine Months Pregnant Keke Wyatt Performed Live In Miami Miami BeachAug 11, 2010 By sylar87 Multi talented American R&B artist Keke Wyatt performed live on stage last Saturday while just a week away from delivering her nine months baby. Keke Wyatt, who is nine months pregnant with her fourth baby, was the special guest for the Miami Beach Bruthaz\Wassup NATL Invasion. Although, it was known that Keke Wyatt will be performing in the show, very few knew that she was pregnant with just a week behind her delivery. The pregnancy did not seem to have affected the vocals of the singer, since she delivered a beautiful rendition of some of her old songs including "My First Love', "Nothing In This World" as well as her new songs such as "Who Knew" and "His Eye Is On The Sparrow". Keke Wyatt's performance mesmerized many, especially because of the stage she was onto and at the end of her performance, the applaud she received from the audience was enough to prove the ambiance she created with her performance.

She ruined the song with all that over-singing.
