What's with the hate on Tedder? I actually like his songs and think something good could come out of this. Who cares if it "has the same chord progression" as other songs - it still sounds damn good on every track.

I'm excited about this album and love that she's going for a vibe closer to her first album. Her debut remains my favorite but all of Furtado's albums are strong. I also believe that she'll work well with both Remi and Tedder.

^ I think working with Timbaland is fine as long as he only has a couple of tracks and he gives her fresher production than his recent work. He works particularly well with Furtado. I think his production on Loose was his best work the second half of the decade.

Ryan Tedder, IMO brought back an essence in music that's been lacking all throughout the 00's. It is my belief his songs Halo etc. will be one of few to survive from a rejected decade in music history. I think Nelly would do okay against his standards, she has shown some power alright.

I am really looking forward to what she brings this time around. Loose came so far out of left field so I'm sort of left wondering what she will deliver with this new album and if it is closer to her debut sound like she says or if it's a mix between that and her later more contemporary work.
Either way, I've always liked her so I'm sure I'll like whatever she does with this. I just hope she has some really cool, ambient songs like "Say It Right" and fun jams even if they aren't as Hip-Pop as "Promiscious". I'd be cool with a "Turn Off The Lights" sort of jam which was hot as hell and also from her debut.
