Based on the weekly 2009 charts. Points are based by the song's rank each week. Each week at #1 = 40 points, #2 = 39 points, etc...


Tie-breaks:

1. The song with the higher peak position is placed first.

2. The song with the most charted weeks in 2009 is placed first.

3. The song with the most weeks spent in the peak position is placed first.

4. The song with the higher 2nd peak position is placed first.

5. The song with the most weeks spent in the 2nd peak position is placed first (yes, I did have to result to this!)


Only SIX points separated #1 and #2 this year.

As ungrateful as I may appear, it is what is. I'm sure there are thousands of posters/viewers who appreciate what you've done including me. I was just looking for the link to the BDS rankings (by actual spins for the year or their cut off period).

To sum all of this up, I'd like to personally thank you.

BTW, you can roll your eyes, stomp your feet, but there's one thing that I am I'm looking for are the Year End charts by BDS that Mediabase sure can beat!!!

Even though BDS is one of the leading radio monitors, Mediabase is still on top, really.

The only thing I've seen so far (with spin totals) is the top 50 from Mediabase.

Unfortunately, you won't find full BDS year end charts online (at least, not that I know of). The most you can get is what is available on Billboard.biz:

For pop, only the top 40 is available here.

I, however, took the liberty of compiling the full top 100. As I noted in my post, my rankings came out pretty much on the money (for the top 40 positions, anyway). I'm reasonably confident the bottom 60 are about where they should be:
