^Mary J Blige must be about 40 by now, right? But she still looks good and is putting out great albums. So I think Beyonce will still be relevant at age 40.
Look at Madonna! She is 50 and still looks 25. lol

Personally I think Madge looks like the walking dead but she's certainly doing her thing in sold out concerts worldwide so yah the 40 argument is completely without merit and total FAIL material.

She has her moments where I can look at her on a full stomach but god forbid she dons workout clothes because dear god it's a mess.

Ok so I was exaggerating. lol Madonna could pass for her 30's easy though. lol She looks good. That is all that matters.
Her body looks very very young, but her face looks older. True.

The way her muscles hang off her bones is enough to make babies cry. It's my opinion that she's no looker but she never has been. She's always just been an average looking woman and now she's an average old woman with a good trainer.

Anyway, did you guys see the Grammy "We are All Fans" page? It has several artists, including Carrie Underwood, Dave Matthews, Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, Taylor, LL Cool J, Beyonce and Pink, and it is really cool! I saw the Lady Gaga commercial, but I didn't realize they did this for other artists! If you click on various Youtube videos, you can watch the fans singing the artists' songs, etc. So nice! This is the Carrie Underwood one, but you can click your favorites on the far left bottom, to see their pages. www.wereallfans.com/#^ Madonna is not a great beauty or anything. But I just think she looks good for her age. lol But I am a Madonna fan, so there you go. I could be biased. lol

Can't wait for the show! Excited to see Bee & GaGa's performances! Really hoping Beyonce, GaGa, Peas, and Taylor all win a few! And Kelly for Pop Vocal Album!

Yeah I am beginning to hate Fan voted award shows. There are too many tweens using fake email accounts voting hours and hours a day, which is ridiculous.
If fan voted events restricted you to one vote per IP address, so that there could be no cheating, it would be more credible.

don't be too sure.. most of these tweens can easily use several computers ..from school to library's if they are THAT desperate to vote multiple times.

The only solution to fan voting that puts some reasonable limitation on the amount of ballot-box stuffing one person can do is to require voters to place a phone call. But even American Idol abandoned phone voting after the first few seasons. And anyway, most fan-voted awards welcome all that web traffic.

I believe they get paid based on how many votes an artist receives, so that's why I think most award shows are doing that now.
Anyway, what is up with the performers? Have they added anymore? They should add Sade, since her album is due out in a month. That would be huge promo for her comeback. :)

That's one of the first things I can agree with you on. Sade on the performers list would be awesome. The video to SoL is almost as grand as the song itself. It would be so refreshing to such true raw talent take the stage. Fingers crossed...even though it won't happen but it would be awesome.

Has Sade ever performed at the Grammys? I mean, she could be the veteran act or something. I don't see Whitney joining the list since she received no nominations. I'm hoping there's no U2. Blah! Wouldn't she be one of the obvious choices, ya know, with the album and all? IDK. I'm keeping my fingers crossed too.

The Grammys just tweeted that they are announcing another performer tomorrow---a big rock band to perform at the Grammys, for the first time ever.
Who do you think that could be? Have the Rolling Stones or Def Lepard every performed at the Grammys?

If fan voted events restricted you to one vote per IP address, so that there could be no cheating, it would be more credible. I agree about fan-voted award shows. That's why there's always a cloud over awards like the 2009 ACMs that Carrie won since it's fan voted and a lot of disbelief that she won over legends like George Strait and Kenny Chesney. If Carrie could win the CMAs which is industry voted, there would be fewer questions of her being a deserving winner....
