This has grown on me quite a bit, although I still think top 10 would be an accomplishment for this song. It's problem is that it sounds like the dancy 2nd single they've sent out the past two albums

^The problem is that there is no hook.

^The problem is that there is no hook. Well Dare or 19-2000 don't have much of a hook either, and that's what I'm saying, it's too much like those 2.

Both of those songs had hooks...especially Dare.
This song is decent, but would it be charting so high if the Gorillaz wasn't an established name? I doubt it.

Oh "Dare" had a decent hook. This however is hook-less. Top 5 would be stretching it a bit for this one.

Both of those songs had hooks...especially Dare. I'd say the remix of "19-2000" had as strong a hook as any of their songs. I think it could have been almost as big as "Clint Eastwood" had more stations picked the remix over the original.

The album leaked. :O
Edit: Even though it-leaked told me it did, I guess it ended up being a fake.

This song really isn't made for Alternative.

This song really isn't made for Alternative. What? This is the epitome of what an "alternative" song should be.

I simply hate this song because it's boring.

I seem to be the only in the boat that really likes this song. I find the textures great. It definitely goes into the category of mood music but not everything I listen to is guitar heavy or massive vocals. I do expect this will be that there will be more accessible songs on the album for the masses.

I doubt there are more accessible songs on Plastic Beach if this is the first single.

I doubt there are more accessible songs on Plastic Beach if this is the first single. Plain White T's first single was "Natural Disaster" on their new album. 1, 2, 3, 4 was the only one that had any impact on radio. I don't even think people realize Natural Disaster was a single.

I was disappointed upon first listen, but this has seriously grown on me. Like so many White Stripes first singles, it's a slow grower. I sincerely doubt it even approaches the peak of "Feel Good Inc." (#1) or even "Clint Eastwood" (#4?) on Alternative, but top ten isn't out of the question.

I've searched and searched and haven't been able to find it. And to stay on topic, uhh Orangutans.

^ Saw them tonight, actually. My jury's still out on them, much as I enjoy "Ride to California." (Dude was missing the high notes in that song left and right, though.) None of the other songs sounded nearly as cool. I'll still stream their album when it drops.
