I really liked their first album and wondered what happened to them. Their song "Tongue Tied" is very similar melodically to David Archuleta's "Crush." I will have to check out their new album, thanks! No problem let me know what you think!

Some recommendations - i'm really into the following lately: Ryan Star - he was on Rock Star Supernova in '06, his indie release Songs From the Eye of an Elephant is raw and pretty brilliant, and his new stuff off the ever upcoming album 11:59 is even better, more polished and pop based. rstar.netHis latest single Breathe is actually picking up spins on Hot AC right now www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUKO6yOWm-gButch Walker - Letters and Sycamore Meadows are my two favorites but it was the live album Leavin' the Game On Luckie St that really made me a fan. He's a great songwriter, never really made it big on pop on radio, but worth checking out. He has a new album out this week too. www.butchwalker.com/This is Over Your Head from the live show www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTUA_NK_87YGreen River Ordinance - these guys are a pop/Christian band - i've seen them twice and their song Goodbye LA is really catchy - here's an acoustic performance of it, i'm sure there are better ones out there though: www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8AfoK-yhCgIf you want to hear one of the most amazing male vocals ever - check out the band called Ours. Jimmy Gnecco writes beautiful, angsty songs and his voice is, well, amazing. Ran Away to Tell the World www.youtube.com/watch?v=4aGZSu7VJe0Mercy www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAW0b-Sun3cObviously, I like bands, and guys with guitars. :)

If you're openminded, I would suggest checking out Francesca Battistelli's "My Paper Heart" and Britt Nicole's "The Lost Get Found" albums. They are Christian artists, but their music is pure pop at its best, and not preachy. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Francesca sounds a bit like Carrie Underwood, which is always a plus. Seconded.
