Mark Ronson's third album The Business will feature collaborations with Santigold, Scissor Sisters, Cathy Dennis, Pill and Miike Snow. It's a horn-free affair and will feature all original songs, including some written with Dave McCabe of The Zutons and Nick Hodgson of Kaiser Chiefs, whose songs he covered on Version. The album is set for release in May.

The album is called Record Collection, and will be released on September 27th (UK) and October 5th (US) under the monicker Mark Ronson & The Business Intl. Lead single "Bang Bang Bang" featuring Q-Tip and MDNR debuts today at #6 on the UK singles chart.

^ You failed to mention some of the more known (and interesting) artists appearing on this album: Simon LeBon and Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran and singer D'Angelo.

"Bang Bang Bang" is one of my least favourite songs of the year. Really disappointing.

I'm not sure how it compares to his previous singles, but I like this quite a bit.

I actually love "Bang Bang Bang"! It's probably my summer anthem! The video is cool too.

This is #2 in the UK album chart at the moment.
Considering how much I hated "Bang Bang Bang", this is a pretty enjoyable album. It's a really fun concept and is a lot less samey than Version. My favourites are "You Gave Me Nothing" and "Somebody To Love Me" with Boy George. I love Boy George's voice, but rarely love his material so it's great to hear him singing on something that suits him.
I'm also loving the artwork this era.

"Somebody To Love" is going to be the third single. I can't believe how great this song is. :o I have to listen to this album ASAP.

For me, "The Night Last Night" and the title track were the immediate standouts.

Mark sings on Lose It and Record Collection; Version has sold 65k in the US to date. Simon LeBon is singing the hook on "Record Collection". Mark is more doing the rap style singing during the verses.
