I've opened it a few times with no issues (including just a few minutes ago). :/

Bummer. Didn't see anything in there explaining why the audience jumped. I thought for sure there would be something in there, because I find it interesting and I want to know what they say about the new arbitron ratings (assuming that that's what caused the increases...what else could it be?)
They had all the songs listed with their current audience totals, but they only increased 2-3 million or so according to the "audience change" column, when in reality, the 44 million totals by the top songs are 5-7 million higher than what they were last week.

Kudos to Country Aircheck for adding a new feature called the "sales per spin" chart. It's very interesting to see who gets the most digital downloads per spin. I hope they continue to show this every week.

I know I should know this by now, but can someone please explain the difference between the song rankings on the Billboard country singles charts and the Mediabase charts. I'm also interested in finding out what determined the song positions on the Radio & Records charts in the 1980's and 90's in contrast to the Billboard country singles charts, since there was often a difference with the rankings each week.

I hope they continue to show this every week. That's not a new Aircheck feature. It's a Warner Nashville advertisement for Hunter Hayes' "Wanted" that mimics the regular Aircheck chart look. It is interesting data, but it doesn't take album sales into account (which came to mind because "Good Girl"'s weekly tally is artificially low due to iTunes subtracting "Complete My Album" totals from the single's sales).

Billboard and Mediabase are 2 different companies that rank airplay. Both BB and MB monitor a lot of stations--currently there are 131 stations on the BB panel, and 139 on the MB panel. Not all of them are the same, but roughly about 110-115 stations report to both Billboard and Mediabase. The big difference is that Billboard ranks the chart by audience (total number of listeners per song, regardless of spin count), while the Mediabase country chart goes by a "points system" that's not really completely explained anywhere. All we know for sure is that it takes into account both spins and audience and a pre-determined weight factor that has to do with each station's market size. Occasionally, song A can be ahead of song B on Mediabase, even though song B has more spins AND more audience than song A. Somehow, song A still wound up with more points. The MB system doesn't make sense to me and this is a glaring example of why. Plus, we've seen a few record labels become notorious for manipulating radio stations for last minute surges to #1, and Mediabase has proved much easier to manipulate (in order to get a #1 at the last second) than Billboard. Both charts are recognized by the country music industry. The countdown shows now all use Mediabase data because it is cheaper. Another good thing about Mediabase is that they give daily updates for the top 50 songs. Full Mediabase access costs a lot of money, but Billboard data costs a bigger fortune to get access to, so we only see a published BB chart each Monday evening in the BCU (Billboard Country Update). Generally, most posters here on the Pulse country forum like Billboard better. I'm one of them--personally, I like Billboard more because their way of ranking the chart makes a lot more sense to me. Also, it's the chart I grew up hearing about and they have a long and storied history, with archives dating back to the 40's, I believe. Mediabase/Country Aircheck didn't get started until the 1980's and they don't do a very good job of archiving their charts and info, plus I don't care for their unexplained points system which, in my opinion, only complicates things and doesn't make a whole lot of sense. But again, both are valid charts in the country music industry.

Oh, I see. It looks like the Mediabase country charts are similar to the way the Billboard country charts were monitored back in the 1980's with the frequent "revolving Door" of #1 country hits from inaccurate data. It would be interesting to see the Mediabase country singles charts from the entire 1990's if there's any archives on it. Anyways, thank you jhomes87 for the information.
