Impressive! It's already #3 on Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks! The The Sound Of Madness era has been quite a smash for them! :o

TBH this album kind of underachieved. With the reception the singles got on pop/hot AC/rock, this should be double platinum instead of barely surmounting platinum. It's also sort of lame that "If You Only Knew" prevented them from having a perfect Mainstream Rock record for the album (cuz you just know this is going to hit #1).

^Underachieved relative to what?
Album sales relative to success of singles...maybe you have a point.
But underachieving is usually relative to expectations, and I don't think anyone could have predicted this kind of domination following 'Us and Them', and it's not like they fell victim to the sophomore slump there either. The problem for Shinedown that translates well to radio and not to sales is that at least to me, I find all their songs at least moderately likable but I never feel emphatic enough about any of them to buy them as singles or as an album (since 'Leave A Whisper').

Ozzy will spend another week at #1, then Shinedown will stay there for a week or two, then Disturbed will rule for 10+ weeks with "Another Way to Die".

I'm kind of skeptical about this reaching #1. It could get stonewalled at #2, just like If You Only Knew.

I'm kind of skeptical about this reaching #1. It could get stonewalled at #2, just like If You Only Knew. So far, the outlook is more than good for Shinedown to score their fourth #1 this album era. Both Disturbed and Five Finger Death Punch are soaring right up the chart, but they still have a deficit to clear behind Shinedown, and Ozzy Osbourne is not known to enjoy chart longevity. Namaste, Lisping Hibiscus

i think the song will receive again some positive updates, it's quite obvious, that several other singles in the latest update looked decreased

"Breaking Inside" or call it quits for this era.

for me it's kinda weird, that they left out of their 5 singles so far a song like Breaking Inside, i find it perfect for rock but also for pop listeners

Maybe they thought it would be too obvious a single.

even if that's true, i think that they have to go with that song as their last single from this era
