It looks like they're making some progress on getting this board fixed. I signed up on Pulse 2.0, but I guess I'm just in wait and see mode.

Craig never seems the least bit interested. He's got to go. And, those facial expressions

Seriously I never thought I'd miss the administrators/moderators so much. It'll be nice when the board is cleaned up again.

I kind of like this Jukebox duet better then the last Alan J ackson song......but I don't think Carrie and Craig have alot of chemistry on stage. Maybe it is the age difference or the different styles of their singing/music?

Maybe it is the age difference or the different styles of their singing/music? I think it is that Craig Morgan dissed her. [/still bitter] Tangent: Remember how T-Pain wanted to work with her? If you could have Carrie work with a rap artist, who would you pair her with? I'd pair her with Nicki Minaj. I think Nicki's over the top rhymes and Carrie's dry humor would be hilarious together.

Maybe it is the age difference or the different styles of their singing/music? I think it's partially the song choice (maybe an actual duet meant for two people would work better), partially that their voices aren't similar at all, and partially Craig's faces.

Thanks, but I imagine you folks will be reconsidering that stance once my lack of patience kicks in again or if the Devils face the Senators in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
In any case, I tried to update the first post after having fallen behind. Do let me know what I've missed. And while it is nice having all of our regulars back, I do ask that we get this thread back on track and on topic now. Thanks again.

They usually wait until the previous single at least goes recurrent. Makes sense to do that anyway since the previous single would still be getting heavy spins which the new single would have to compete with. Carrie can afford to wait since her songs get the superstar/radio-staple treatment and move up quickly. Plus, in this case, I'm willing to bet Carrie will perform "Temporary Home" at the ACM Awards show so it also makes sense to still let that be the single in the meantime.

Concert tonight: Schottenstein Center (Columbus, OH) Carrie sold out the same venue on the Carnival Ride Tour. ---------------- In this article re: how Nashville is keeping a close watch on the experimental six-pack strategy used by Blake Shelton as a possible way to address declining album sales, Carrie shares her opinion:

^While I'm also happy that TH went #1, I'm getting concerned about Carrie becoming a little "overrated" and losing her star power since she has recently gotten only single-week #1's. I was hoping that this would get a second week at #1, but the song taking over the top spot is also pretty great. Then again, those may just be flukes, but still...it's Carrie Underwood.
TH probably would've went Top 40 on the Hot 100 if digital sales were up a little (it hasn't even sold 400k yet!...at least I don't think).

I wouldn't worry about her star fading, especially with UI being next. Although I would prefer SLT to be released (re-recorded with the interpolation, please), I think UI's arena rock chorus (anthem-like hook and all) will be enough to garner, at least, two weeks on top of the country charts.Plus, I am going to harass Sony Nashville and tell them that if they insisit on releasing UI, they better at least give it a Pop adds date. Otherwise, there's no excuse.
