Its so nasty and sooo 2006. Like, who has this hairdo anymore?! Trifling. Ok, so basically you want him to follow trends and be like everyone else? That is what people are already criticizing about him. How could you hate someone's hair that much? Hair is hair. If you don't like it, don't do your hair that way. And he's 16. Most 16 year old boys have long hair that part infront of their ears. Not really...

As long as he's spitting out platinum albums he'll be around MUCH longer than Kelly Clarkson, Ciara, Chris Brown, and Trey Songz who NONE can't even sell 1,000,000 copies Kelly Clarkson's latest effort sold sold 843,000+ copies. Ciara's latest effort sold 200,000+ copies. Chris Brown's latest effort sold 290,000+ copies. Trey Songz latest effort sold 521,500+ copies. I don't understand why you're throwing shade at Kelly. You're comparing her to these people, when Kelly sold more than 4x the amount Ciara did, almost 3x the amount Brown did, and sold over 300,000 copies more than Trey Songz. :S I feel like she really doesn't belong in your list of irrelevant artists. Kelly's latest effort had 3 Top 20 Hits Chris' latest effort had 1 Top 20 Hit Trey's latest effort had 1 Top 20 Hit Ciara's latest effort had 1 Top 20 Hits (and she cheated to get it) Why not replace Kelly for someone who actually legitimately flops? Anyway, you realize, you said "s long as he's spitting out platinum albums he'll be around MUCH longer than Kelly Clarkson", and you realize that Kelly has been around for 8 years, right? Somebody, tell me when did 8 years become a short amount of time? Not to mention 2 top 5 pop hits and another top 10 hit as well from her latest album. Justin Bieber with all his singles he's put out has never reached top 10. Radio loves Kelly Clarkson much more than Justin Bieber. I can pretty much conclude because of that the people that buy his albums are limited to preteen girls.

Sales-wise, of course. But I'm not sure what that has to do with anything. LOL. What other way is there to measure success of new artists? Are you gonna bring up David's theatre tour? Digitally and album wise, outsold by far. Sales wise he'll end up with about 3.5 mil sold with his 2 releases. David sold 950k with his 2 releases. There's no debate. Sorry but I have to agree with soundscene. David is actually a legitimate artist with a good voice..at least he's sold by himself. Justin can't even carry a song by himself..he always needs to feature a black artist to sell (Ludacris, Sean Kingston, etc). Originally 'Somebody to Love' was by himself but like always he once again had to lean on Usher. I think he's talented but gawd that voice of his remind me of Alvin of the chipmunks.

That argument is like a month old.
Everyone knows David Archuleta wipes the floor with Justin Bieber when it comes to talent.

That argument is like a month old. sorry I just think it's a weird comparison for someone who's had all the music moguls alongside and someone who just had idol lol. Plus I'm pretty annoyed that Usher is featured in half of this song.

Well, it's true that Bieber has had more success than David. But, that doesn't make him anymore talented or anymore of an artist. He just had good marketing.

Wasn't David singing Christian songs when he was justin's age? lol

They aren't really very similar but I guess they were sort of marketed to the same audience during their first eras. But, I think David appeals to a wider audience than Bieber.

That argument is like a month old. Everyone knows David Archuleta wipes the floor with Justin Bieber when it comes to talent. I wouldn't say that. You think David is better in terms of talent, and that is your opinion. Watching videos of Justin singing Respect and other covers actually makes me think he's has the better voice, albeit his voice is changing. Either way, Justin is more successful, not only among teens tho. People like Justin Timberlake, Usher, Ryan Seacrest, etc all like him, and adult males are hardly his target market. Anyway, Justin and David seem both like really nice guys, and I don't think putting them against each other does any good.

Maybe I'm alone, but it seems awful ridiculous to try and make a comparison between a kid who's voice hasn't even fully developed to anyone. You might as well be comparing Beyonce and Justin Timberlake's vocal talents for all I'm concerned.

David at 13 years old: www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2oHcqi70cc Still miles better than Bieber at 16.

Just saying comparing the two is plain ridiculous at this point. Having said that, vocally it would appear Archuleta will have an edge down the road.

Bieber isn't the new Taylor Swift - Taylor does extremely well on the radio. Bieber had one modest hit. Once upon a time there was a tween/teen band called Jonas who also did only mediocre on the radio, yet sold lots and lots and lots of albums... until they started selling less... and then one of them went solo and flopped... now all they have is their crappy TV show and a Disney Channel movie sequel. You forgot one thing: Bieber has the no. 1 album worldwide right now... He's huge everywhere.

This is the ONLY bieber song I will claim to even remotely tolerate. This actually does the job of being decent.

30 23 JUSTIN BIEBER Somebody To Love 2289 1873 416 10.248
+28 Spins -12 Bullet +.078 AI
I expect this to really pick up now that Eenie Meenie has peaked, and the remix with Usher has just been released. This is the only Bieber song at the moment that I actually believe is Top 10 material.

Hopefully this goes Top 10 :) The remix is good :)
Where have all his singles peaked on Pop? I've lost count.
