I wish she would perform 'MLWSWY' just once in its original key. Like freakshow said, though, I don't want Yelly to re-emerge , so I don't mind the key changes. It's only on a few songs, anyway. @rev17 addicteds avatar is kelly from 2007-2008 so she wasn't only beautiful 2004 lol and kelly still looks ridicilously beautiful now as well. It's actually from May 2006...

I'm betting its either Daughtry or Carrie...nothing else makes much sense.

Didn't kelly have higher key than original on that dutch program where she sang MLWSWY? The high notes got me thinking it was higher key because i never heard it that good before nor that high when she belts them lol. I have no idea how to hear when people key change i'm not that kind of person, but i have learnt how to hear high notes mostly

I hope it isn't Daughtry, if only because I'm sure Yelly/RocKelly will emerge and she isn't the best person to listen to. I can skip the track or whatever, but with the hype she is giving it, I'm thinking it might be a single.
Carrie/Kelly FTW.

I've always loved Kelly singing Rock and 7 Nation Army confirmed my love. I'm hoping for someone like Steven Tyler♥. Chris D. would sound great singing that style with her as well. I'm pretty sure it's going to be Chris though.

It's a shame that it won't be Kris (pretty certain is isn't :( ) the two of them would sound great on a ballad.
Both are perfection when it comes to emoting

Fast Car proved to me that Chris and Kelly can sing a song amazingly well. I still get goosebumps when I watch a video of it on YouTube. Plus, Kelly looked so adorable that night.

Exactly, "Rockelly" (whether harder or indie) is probably my favourite shade of the vocal chameleon, even though there are so many to choose from. 'Seven Nation Army', 'Use Somebody', 'Fast Car', 'Cryin' were incredible.

I'm almost positive the duet will be released as a single, something I don't think will be a wise decision. I know I'm jumping the gun on this, but sending a Howard Benson produced track featuring guest vocals by Chris Daughtry doesn't sound to me like something Pop radio is going to embrace with loving arms. Hopefully I'm wrong about everything I just said. I'm waiting for DANCELLY to finally emerge and give us what we're all waiting for! Bring on the RedOne and Danja tracks! Are y'all ready?

I was hoping for Polow. Maybe we will get a "WooHoo" type song.

When she's RockKelly, she just uses different facets of her voice. She's not yelly, she's rock. You can't sing Rock using the same voice as she uses when she sings Close Your Eyes. It would sound ridiculous. Rock NEEDS a rougher sound imo. Kelly does it right. She's as great vocally singing Rock as the best and/or legendary Rock Chicks in the business.

Nothing wrong with that voice, it's all in how she uses it.

To me, "Yelly" is just code for 'can go higher and harder than my faves'. Sure she had a rough vocal performance at the VMA's 2005. But to me, that isn't rock Kelly. I know home girl can go off kilter sometimes, but her rock side (7 Nation, Cryin etc) is entirely worthy of praise and deeper than just a strained version of one of her hits.

Am I the only one who thinks that "sh!t and fame" sounds like it samples the old Power Rangers Theme song?

I've been listening to "ready to Go" quite a lot recently and am slowly falling in love with it...I like it much more than "Dance" and I think "Shit & Fame" could be a really good song in it's finished form

It's not far away until we get to see who the duet is with.
I suspect it's by the end of this month that we atleast find out who the duet is with if the album is going to appear Q4
I'm so excited, and lol if it turns out it was chris all along all this duet spectaculation would be a waste of time because we already knew it from the beginning.

Has there been any evidence or has Kelly hinted or said that the duet she recorded will be the first single? I don't remember ever seeing anything one way or the other. IMO we don't even know if it will make the album in the end as she usually has way more songs recorded than would fit on one album.

It's so awesome and is a duet but I can't tell you who quite yet :)

Well, even so, she can officially record 60 songs for the album and pick 15.

Between the tweet and the little tease video, I'd be pretty surprised if the duet didn't make the album.

If it doesn't make it though I would hope people wouldn't be calling Kelly a liar as has been done before when something that was assumed was spread around as fact when it was never corroborated. eta: run on sentence..sorry

Nice try though, bew.
