Thematically & lyrically a blatant GaGa ripoff, and a mediocre one at that smdh. :(
HOW DARE HE.
Hope this flops so 'Monster' can smash if it's her next single.

his Closer which this is similar to came out long before anyone heard of Lady Gaga. Yeah, unfortunately I wasn't referring to the sub par music / vocals. ??? 'I've never seen one like you' 'She's a monster' 'Playing with my heart, and she's playing with my mind' etc. Little too similar for my liking.

just heard it and oh the verses & the beat are crap. The chorus is pretty catchy though.
The R&B Ne-Yo, Chris Brown, Usher, Beyonce, etc etc etc >>>>>>>>>>>> The Dance-Pop Ne-Yo, Chris Brown, Usher, Beyonce etc etc etc....except for some songs

I even quoted lines which are essentially word for word. It's pretty much just a flop male version of the same song. Gawd, everything is inspired by Gaga, right? No. GTFO.

Pop is the only format possibly playing it. And Rhythmic, unless the Urban single is hotter.

First Ne-yo single that I absolutely dislike.
Hope it flops, but I'm sure it will smash.

Girl bye, I read your quote and it's reaching. The ONLY thing that is even remotely similar is Gaga's line "never seen one like that before" and Neyo's "I've never seen one like you" and that can be interpreted very different.

Unfortunately for you, I think other people are going to listen to this thinking 'Monster theme? didn't GaGa just do that..?' and also come to the same conclusions I did. Just being objective boo. And no this doesn't sound a thing like a GaGa song, he could never.

Conceptually, I can see the similarities. Sort of like Bad Romance with the oxymoronic title and lyrics. The artists themselves are totally incomparable. No one is gonna scream 'this sounds like Lady Gaga' when they hear it.

lmao. Okay I don't HEAR anything gaga in this at all. And we don't know about the theme here, this seems something expected of Ne-yo. LYRICALLY though, I got a bit of the Monster era vibe in this.
oh and adds date?

Thematically, the whole monster/supernatural/vampires thing is pretty widespread so I don't think it's fair to call him out on that. I WILL say however... (= GaGa as soon as the beat dropped, plus the similarities between the lyrics that have already been mentioned.)

@ the extremely pressed standom here. There are no similarities between this and Gaga aside from a word and anyone who thinks the general public is going to hold this against him has no clue how the general public acts. That said, I do hear another recording in this song. This is ok, I can see it being a hit on pop and maybe rhythmic as well.

ROFL @ the blatant Gaga 'Monster' rip-off.
The beat is kinda hot but the lyrics and the melody are really terrible.
