Mark your calendars! Yay for new music from David! Wonder when we'll hear a CHR adds date? I hope it's either at the same time, or even the week before, it premiers on his OS.

i liked crush but i hope its something more upbeat. Yeah, I either want something fun and upbeat or else an intense power ballad. I'd rather not have another mid-tempo pop/rock song.

This is a very important release for him.
I really hope they're not foolish and waste Zero Gravity. It needs to be on his album and it needs to be a single.

^ I wouldn't hold your breath for Zero Gravity, lol. I've always loved it, but it would need to be remixed for radio and probably even for an album track. The production on the version of ZG that was included in the Fan Pack EP was okay, but not really ready for prime time IMO.

I won't mind if it's another mid tempo pop song as long as it's as good as Crush. But whatever it is, it better be good!

Releasing Zero Gravity at this point would be the equivalent of Britney releasing Radar two years after it first appeared on Blackout - massive failure. It's a great song and should've been a single during the first era, but it's time to move on. I'm confident he has better stuff on this album.
Anyway I really have no idea what to expect sound-wise from this song so it will be interesting. I do, however, hope it's different from Crush. I love Crush, but this needs to be a new sound.

^Jive seems to be taking their work on this album very seriously and have taken a lot of time to try and get it right, so I am optimistic that it will turn out to be worth the extra effort.

I am pretty impressed with the whole Twitter announcement thing. Considering his Christmas album outsold most of their regular 2009 releases they better treat him nice.

I don't agree, have you seen him live and heard that? It was by far the most crowd pleasing song he played. Sure it's an old song to his hardcore fans, but for a song that good to exist and never have a shot at being released? Horrible!

I'm fine with Zero Gravity but I don't think it will be released as David's next single. It would be nice, since we'll finally see how it would perform as a single, but it would be kind of a let down for the fans that waited so long for this.

That would make sense because David's OS kind of spilled the beans a few weeks ago. They were polling the fans about Deluxe Album packages and one of the items had "Something 'Bout Love" on it. Once they realized people started to notice, they ripped the reference down ASAP. Oops.

'Crush' is an excellent pop song. Can't wait to see what he brings this time round.

I wouldn't be totally opposed to ZG being a single somewhere down the line, though.

I've never liked Archie much but "Crush" was actually really good. So I'll at least listen to this.

LOL, I remember when "Crush" came out and a lot of people being disappointed that they actually liked it. Maybe we'll get another one of those, hahaha.

Crush surprised me SO much. lol, he annoyed me on the show but 'Crush' is such a great Pop song. Hoping for another I never really got the impression that a lot of the songs he sang on the show were his first choices. There were a ton of awesome, current-sounding songs David said he tried to sing and the producers always shot them down. He said he really loved Crush the first time he heard it, so I always took that to be the kind of music he preferred. Anyway, I think this album will show a lot more of his personality and I'm really hoping this lead single is good.
