I'm told this is going to be the other lead single from Nelly 5.0. Produced by Jim Jonsin. Album in stores September 21st.

Both of his singles are embarrassing. "Tippin" sounds dated and has no hook, this sounds like a Flo Rida b-side.

You can kind of tell who Syliva Rhone makes a priority on Universal Motown lol. Many artist on that label have songs that leak and then don't go for adds for another 3 months. Nelly leaks and she's ON IT. It's the same way with Wayne. Wayne was saying she wanted the Carter 4 out in 2008 lol.

I'm not quite getting what Nelly has to do with Flo Rida, their styles are nothing alike...

This seems to be getting him the most positive attention he has had since his 2004 albums. Im not impressed though. It sounds like that Wyclef song from a few years back mixed with Airplanes.

Nelly has showed way more messages of substance than Flo-Rida...are we listening to the same artist?

I want yall to call me when you hear Flo Rida make a song like Grillz or Air Force Ones. Nelly has never made a song that could fit into the Pop format of today, songs like you would hear from Jason Derulo or Flo Rida. Nelly is more Urban than that. Edit: Also, let me know when Flo Rida lands a major Urban hit again.

The similarities are pretty clear, I'm surprised you can't see. I've been hearing this comparison ever since "Low" came out.

He's saying that Nelly came out as Urban as ever. I mean Flo-Rida has made nothing like anything off of "Country Grammer". And even things that Nelly did on Nellyville that were considered "Pop" leaning were still Urban smashes.

I don't see any similarities either. I loved Nelly and I fucking despise that piece of shit Flo Rida.

But yeah, what I'm saying is Flo Rida WANTS to be Pop, Nelly is Urban oriented, but happens to crossover.

FloRida is primarily a Pop/Rap artist, but he can't sale an album for nothing. He always has these huge singles, then poor album sales. Nelly is far more versatile, and they sound nothing alike.

As far as lyrical substance goes Nelly and Flo Rida are both just primarily uptempo party or lovey dovey slow jam rappers. I wouldnt even waste time having a debate about who has more substance. At any rate I definitely can see the parallels people are drawing. Nelly was the biggest rapper of that kind in the early part of the last decade and Flo Rida became the biggest rapper of that kind in the late part of the decade. But Nelly obviously had more hits and his albums sold better. Thats where the parallels stop

Nelly is an Urban artist with Pop leaning music. FloRida is a Pop/Rap artist, his albums just don't sale as much as they should.

So this is making big moves on Pop and Rhythmic, and "Tippin In The Club" is doing good at Urban. I don't really remember how successful the singles were off his last album, but these 2 songs should easily be his biggest hits in a while.
