1. This isn't even that radio-friendly, much less Active-friendly.
2. A straight debut into the top 50? That wouldn't even make sense on Alt the way it is now, much less Active.

I took a listen to see any part of it sounded similar to a syndicated show opening or a commonly used major radio conglomerate advert or station ID or something so that Mediabase might be detecting it accidentally... didn't strike anything with me, but I bet a lot of y'all are more familiar with those sorts of things, if you want to give it a try: www.myspace.com/wintergloves |

A remake of the Depeche Mode song was used in a very sexy ad for Gucci Guilty I saw tonight during the VMAs. I was hoping this was the song, but I looked at the ad on YouTube and somebody said it was Friendly Fires. (And apparently the actress is Evan Rachel Wood and the ad was apparently directed by Frank Miller. No wonder it stood out to me so much!) |
