I have been asking the Pulse staff to assign someone to moderate the Dance section (even if it's the most basic powers like locking/stickying/having the authority to maintain order when things get a little out of hand) for some time now, but they have come to the decision that it was unnecessary at that time (and we have to respect their decision). The response from the staff has been for us to alert them to problems when they occur so they can address them as they cannot read each and every thread and post in every section of Pulse, and they moderate these boards as a side thing in addition to whatever they do in their lives offline. Certain sections like Country and Pop have staff assigned to them as those ones tend to have much greater levels of activity, and those are like a 'forum within a forum'--especially the Country section so greater attention is needed naturally. The staff do moderate this section, but they don't announce their presence as when things are going fine, that isn't necessary. But going forward, we should feel free to alert the staff either by PMing one of them, or reporting the post in which the misbehavior occurred (there's a little 'report to mod' thing at the side of the posts).
