The clip to YLAC doesn't at all sound like Mark Bright. Any guesses? I read each artist got to choose their own producer and musicians, www.theboot.com/2010/09/02/loretta-lynn-tribute-album-2010/ and judging that Carrie has pretty much worked with Mark Bright for years, I assume he may have done it, but I could be wrong.

Leighton Meester was inspired by Carrie, Miranda Lambert and Taylor Swift for her role in the upcoming film, Country Strong. Video Link

^^ I think Sean Daly was expecting Carrie(Pink) to show up and swing upside down from the rafters. I think and I could be wrong, but his is the only negative review I've seen so far.
Just to add: "His Pop Life column runs every Sunday in Floridian". Hmmmmm.

I know Carrie wants to stay true to country but I would love for her to release just one crossover album. More people need to hear that voice of hers.

Carrie in "The Chronicles Of Narnia" MovieCarrie co-wrote & performed a song that will be featured on the end credits of the December 10th movie, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. In working with the movie company, Fox, we will be releasing the single as an iTunes exclusive on 11/16/10.
Fox's objective is to promote the movie, but there's also an opportunity for Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations for the song/Carrie. We are also working to build some of their social media marketing into our Carrie web presence.

^^Great news about Carrie doing a song for Narnia. How does she keep all this stuff a secret until right before it happens? I hope it's good enough for an Oscar or Golden Globe nod. She would look stunning walking the Oscar red carpet and of course get alot of good international PR.

She would look stunning walking the Oscar red carpet and of course get alot of good international PR. If she walked the red carpet and did interviews, they would probably ask her about Soul Surfer as well, so it would be great promo for that too. I probably shouldn't let my hopes get too high, though. Looking forward to hearing the song in a few weeks!

Whoa, when Carrie says "surprise" nowadays, it's really a surprise. YAY!!! So exciting! And we get TWO new Carrie songs in two consecutive weeks!
(That news item on the official site is weird though. The second paragraph looks like it should be/ it came from an internal memo, haha!)

^ I think desertfloods is asking if there's a source which specifically says it's Carrie, Hillary and David. The news item doesn't say.

David Hodges confirmed that the song featured in 'Narnia' will be " A Place for Us." Source: bit.ly/buGVx8Update: Here's the song (presumably, anyway) that will play during the credits of the movie.

Pretty cheesy, if you ask me. Kind of reminds me of an American Idol winners song. I'm sure Carrie will sound great on it though!

How could that group get their hands on the song before it was even released?? That doesn't seem right, I don't buy it... and indeed, sounds like an AI winner song... hope with all my strengths that it's not it...
