Please not "Undo It". I think if it lists "Undo It" it will be a medley ending in UI.

Also note that it lists Reba as performing "If I Were A Boy", as well. I don't believe the board at all. Reba wouldn't do the same song twice at the two biggest Country awards shows. But, the song is Reba's current single and is climbing the charts. I could see why she would perform the song again. On the other hand, the fact that Deliah_Lambert said Miranda was performing a new song, and Heart Like Mine is listed is baffling. Either one of them is wrong or she is performing twice? The latter wouldn't surprise me. I love Miranda and all, but I don't think she needs two performance slots to promote a current single and then premiere a new single. That just seems completely unfair to all the artists, and I'm starting to feel as though she's being forced down our throats. And to the Reba thing -- while that may be true, I just don't see it happening twice at the two biggest Country awards shows. I don't think that she would do that, nor do I think that her record label would want her to do that. Maybe she'll premiere the next single...? Over on CarrieFans, there was an announcement from the ACMs a few days ago that they're getting upset with the amount of "debut performances of new singles" that will be presented on the show, so maybe Reba's included in the list. As for Carrie, I just don't think she'd do UI again. It peaked back in August of '10, it's going to be a year old by the end of April (as a single), and she did it at the CMTs, the CMT Artist of the Year special (medley with "Cowboy Casanova" and "Temporary Home"), and the CMA Fest that was televised. I don't see her doing it again. IMO, while it would still be a good performance, it would be a complete waste of a time slot. And to be quite honest, Carrie needs to take advantage of the performance slot she's getting since the ACMs slapped her across the face this year with a mere single-nomination that they've made obvious that she won't win.

That actually happens quite often at country shows, I've noticed.
Taylor was given two spots to perform at the 09 CMA's and she opened the show with Forever & Always and then performed Fifteen, her current single at the time, later on. Carrie also performed twice at the CMA's last year, one was her single and the other was a random song from her record, which kind of leads me to believe that this year will be all about Miranda, and it was to be expected.

Exactly, but "Forever & Always" and "Songs Like This" weren't going to be future singles. They were simply just performance songs. Miranda's promoting a current single and premiering a new single all in one night. I love Miranda (as I said before), but this is just too much new stuff in one night for me. But it's whatever for me. I just want to know whether Carrie is actually performing UI or not, because a lot of us don't think that would be a smart move by any means.

I don't see the difference, to be honest, I think two separate performances is a little bit too much for anybody. It is a smart move by the label and the management, and I guess the show producers since Miranda, Taylor and Carrie are big, but what she's doing isn't any different than what Taylor and Carrie did before. There was no way of knowing (then) that Songs Like This and Forever & Always weren't going to be singles.

And about Carrie, I think her management just wants to take advantage of this opportunity and get some exposure. Any exposure at this point is good. I don't think performing UI is a good idea either, but then again, I usually hate it when Taylor Swift does random songs from her album rather than her singles. Carrie doesn't have a single out though, so perhaps she could perform something different instead.

I wish Carrie would give more attention to her other under-appreciated album tracks than always performing her uptempo boy-basher songs. She seems to LOVE picking Last Name, and now UI to perform.
Really really hope they have changed the ACM performance since that video.

I'll be highly disappointed if she is in fact singing UI. Enough of that one already! I don't understand why she couldn't sing an album track or a cover of sorts. >:(

Why would they choose to do Undo It again? We've already had two high-profile performances of it: American Idol and the CMT Awards. How is performing it again supposed to benefit Carrie in any way?
A performance of a different album track or a cover song would have benefited her much more. Everyone who is going to be in the room on ACM night has already seen Carrie perform Undo It, so unless she changes the song up drastically, it's not going to showcase anything new.

Let's not write it off. Carrie always surprises with her performances. If she is doing UI, I'm sure she's going to switch it up and put something new into it.

I agree with everyone.Enough already with Undo It.Disappointing I can't imagine anything she could do with it to make it interesting enough to do over something new.An album track or a cover or pretty much anything would be so much better.

Well it's lame but surely she'll do something different with it. Maybe a stripped down rendition or something. Delilah Lambert's Twitter confirmed that Miranda won't be performing "Heart Like Mine", yet they have that listed on the yellow card right next to Carrie's card. delilah_lambert also tweeted that the powers that be over the ACMs were not happy with so many acts performing new songs. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Miranda's debut performance of the new single got axed. If Carrie truly is performing 'Undo It', I would rather she not perform at all. Nah. I'll take my Carrie served any way I can get it, tbh. I wish Carrie would give more attention to her other under-appreciated album tracks... I don't think 'Undo It' was Carrie or her people's first choice. The ACMs just want the general audience to be able to recognize the majority of the night's performances. Therefore she's stuck performing 'Undo It'.

Maybe it was a miscommunication. The ACMs said they wanted to Undo their crazy nominations for ETOY and she thought they wanted her to sing Undo It.

I think you guys need to relax alittle because nothing isn't official yet to what everyone will be performing at the acm's. There's always a chance that Carrie might do something different but i dunno but I will be excited with whatever Carrie's performing and i won't be bashing about what she performs either..Here's the list of Carrie's performances dating back to 2006.
ACM's 2006 - Jesus, take The wheel 2007 - Wasted 2008 - Last Name 2009 - I Told You So 2010 - Temporary Home 2011 - Undo It?

The delilah_lambert twitter account is at it again. Who runs this? It must be someone from Miranda's team, they seem to have way too much inside info to just be a random fan. On the board from the video, it says Reba is singing "If I Were A Boy." delilah_lambert says that was the case up until yesterday, but now Reba is doing "When Love Gets Ahold of You" (confirmed also by Tony Thomas). Delilah_lambert:The show is sounding all kinds of messy right now. Like no one has a clue what's going on.

Lets face it: as much as I love Carrie and am constantly surprised by her, I hardly think she'll top CMT's performance on UI if she performs it again at the ACMs... I mean, the whole performance last year suited REALLY well with the award show and the crowd and she had already done it differently from the album version... not even the Idol performance was as good...
I'm on the "Someday" bandwagon... or whatever else bandwagon for that matter... well, I would take Undo It over Mama's Song though...

This is a general music board and we don't have to love everything Carrie does. Yes, nothing is official be we can state or opinion.

'Old Alabama' needs to peak, stat. This is going to be huge. To me, this points to Carrie not releasing a lead single until August/September at the earliest. The label will use Brad's single as a way to keep her on the airwaves in the Summer/early fall, and then release the lead single when the duet is peaking/has peaked. It would be a great strategy and also gives Carrie some time off to find better material then she has recorded previously. Album can smash in November.
