Carrie wasn't at the retreat. I really hope Carrie doesn't concern herself with making this 'personal' album that so many of y'all bang on about. Just record the best songs & call it a day. I don't need nor want an entire album dedicated to Mike. Yeah, I don't want that either and, honestly, I don't think Carrie will record anything like that. She's only performed Look at Me once because it's too mushy so I don't see her doing a complete album of that. :) I hope she picks the best songs and makes a cohesive album.

I agree with what Typo said, but I also don't want any songs like "Change" on the album, and less inspirational ballads. JTTW, So Small, and Play On are enough. I love JTTW and So Small, but not a big fan of Play On. It's just really corny, although the song itself is ok I guess. I just want really well-written songs with good lyrics.

Updated the writers' retreat known attendants list with Rivers Rutherford. He's another good one! I'm pretty sure we can count on another inspirational song. That's just a product of who Carrie is as a person. Personally I don't mind them as long as they're quality songs. i still don't understand how LAM is too mushy and she can make a video for MS and not think that is mushy. i know this has been said many times i'm still so puzzled. lol Well 'Mama's Song' is kind of disguising itself as a mother-daughter song whereas 'Look At Me' is just a straight-up love song.

Carrie comes in at #1, obviously, on Co-Ed Magazine's 15 Sexiest American Idol Contestants of All-Time countdown: Was there ever a chance that she wouldn’t be the sexiest American Idol contestant of all time? At what point in this article did you dream of someone else surpassing her beauty? Carrie Underwood’s legs are sexier than most women’s bodies. That was no typo, my friends. Her legs deserve a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame… or my house. Either way, they belong somewhere.

I think they have stopped. Peta is all about negative publicity, thus the extensive list.

Olay doesn't test on animals. They just don't have a formal ban in place against animal testing, which is why they're on that list.

Brad Paisley called Carrie a "best friend" I love the friendship between them. I also need to stress again how I can't wait for "Remind Me" anymore. t.co/4593ZAK

^That's pretty awesome! Thanks for posting! "However, his new duet with Carrie Underwood on "Remind Me" started with a phone call. Paisley called her as he was writing the song. "I said, 'I promise it will be great, or we won't do it,'" Paisley said. He also calls Underwood a best friend and said they recorded the sad, sad, sad ballad of a love that's become "good, not great" at the guest house near Paisley's home." I'm soooooooooo EXCITED!!! I guess it's really sad, as the person wrote "sad" three times in a row! And that "good, not great" love theme sounds really interesting. I am so pumped. It's only a matter of time before we hear at least a snippet of it! ![:d](http://images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif)

I can't wait to hear Remind Me and That is wonderful that Brad Paisley called Carrie a best friend and i hope they get to the costing gig on CMA's this year like they did the last couple years.
off-topic Carrie was mention on Idol this past week (movies that past idol Contestants are in) and also the girls night out special that is on this friday at 9pm on CBS. the promo for that was show during The Young And The Restless today..

I cannot wait for all the new music, especially "Remind Me" I've been holding myself over with the UI/WTY performance but that is fading fast! I need more new stuff!

Do country albums usually leak 1-3 weeks before their release dates ? I believe Brad's album will be released on May 24, 2011.

While we're waiting for the telecast of GNO on Friday... beagles514 at the fanclub posted this video (which Carrie saw and enjoyed). Acoustic version of "Cowboy Casanova" sung by 8-year old Avery Winter. It sure made me smile ![:-*](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/kiss.png)

From Brad's Billboard cover story: ![](http://i54.tinypic.com/1zb9awz.jpg) "REMIND ME" (FEATURING CARRIE UNDERWOOD)
"Part of the history of country music is the history of George Jones & Tammy Wynette and Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty - the momentous duets. Getting to know Carrie, and becoming best friends essentially, I'll have a hard time collaborating with any other girl singer. We really have a magic that I think is apparent when we host the Country Music Assn Awards. It was a thrill to again collaborate with who I think is the greatest singer that we have - as well as one of the greatest that we've ever had." Thanks to Cary over at CF for uploading the pic.

It's nice to know that they have a friend in each other. No offense to Mike or Kim, but Carrie and Brad in my opinion would make a beautiful couple.

It's terrible of me to think/say, but I've always thought they could be a Garth/Trisha or Vince/Amy where they are friends for years and then end up getting married way down the line. I do feel terrible saying that as Kimberly seems great (I haven't paid any attention to Mike).

I think that their respective very happy marriages are part of what makes this friendship so adorable. If Brad and Carrie host the CMAs again(I think it would be crazy if they don't), then having Mike and Kim do a skit or present together could be very funny. Really looking foward to the three duets coming up from Carrie, especially the one with Brad.
