Suspicious Minds getting thrown into a "Now" album is a bit odd It is not the original version (the one you're familiar with), no, it's the "Viva Elvis" version, produced & mixed by Brendan O'Brien. This version of 'Suspicious Minds' is also the first single of the album "Viva Elvis", scheduled to be released November 9, 2010, in the US. Here's a link to the "re-worked" song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuOYwbjhrn8Regards, Martin

how are these cds relevant at all when I can go to iTunes and pick and choose what songs I want, instead of having to buy the whole CD w/ songs I hate?

People do still buy NOW compilations- but in a lot less quantities than they used to (at least in the USA). The iTunes age has made them less commercially viable.

how are these cds relevant at all when I can go to iTunes and pick and choose what songs I want, instead of having to buy the whole CD w/ songs I hate? Some people probably just buy the Now compilations to get a taste of what's popular and current right now. Many may not have even heard half the songs to know they might not like them. And it's still cheaper to just buy the album that it would be to buy each individual single. All that said, though, I agree, it seems like these Now CD's ought to die eventually.
