"Addicted" please. Yes. One of her best songs ever. I'd love to hear Maybe or BTHE. Haha I wonder if she'll do Walk Away. Again. (though I do have to say that is a REALLY fun song to sing)

No Addicted or Maybe please... Those songs are within Kelly's Top 5 best songs, and they're masterpieces in their original form, so I wouldn't like to hear a new version... I'd prefer studio versions of the arrangements she has used on tour... like acoustic BTHE, Walk Away with the horns, the dance remix of NA she sang last tour, or even that JMTT/Addicted/Gone medley she did one time

Six on iTunes during Black Friday week must mean more than six on iTunes during any other week, right?

im not sure what you mean by this question? Sales wise? perhaps but it is still only Itunes sales, and regardless its still #6. But I am assuming sales will be higher overall

But I am assuming sales will be higher overall OK, so #6 on iTunes during a normal week constitutes as say, 10,000 sales. During this week, competition is heavier, sales are higher, so #6 on iTunes might reasonably mean sales of a lot more than that? That said, without knowing the mechanics of Black Friday etc. it might not affect iTunes/digital sales that much? Just wondering.

I needed a break from haters after reading the WDKY thread. People are calling her fat and saying it's dated and IDNHU part 2 and I just can't. So here I am!
I'm really hoping for Up To The Mountain, as other posters have said. It's an amazing song, and having her record it might stop Simon Cowell from giving it to every X Factor contestant because Kelly introduced it to him. She also sings it too well. Too well.
I'm also hoping for JMTT, since it's my favorite off of "Thankful". And I'd love to see a gospel, choir-backed version of WDYT. They really missed the boat on the production there, it could've been amazing. So that would be cool to see.

Someone is a fan of "Sober" from "My December. Hi Houster. Actually, I'm one of those serious Kelly fans who didn't like My December or any of the songs on it. I think that whole era hurt her career. I think it's a testament to her talent and likeability that the MD era didn't entirely kill her career. "Sacrificing the flowers for the weeds" is just the analogy that occurred to me at the time, nothing more. It was not intended as a reference to Sober.

The best revenge is success, and WDKY is already very successful in that it was used for a Toyota commercial. That's very prestigious. It's a happy, upbeat song that should do fine when it's finally released.

Do we know how many songs the EP will have? I would love 1) the NA Remix 2) the MI version she did on Ellen recently 3) Seven Nation Army 4) Already Gone with a different, new production 5) the Just Missed the Train/Addicted/Gone medley 6) MKIA big band 7) WDKY acoustic

The NA remix on the deluxe MD is pretty similar to what she does on tour, so I wouldn't want a slot wasted on that unless it was significantly different. If she includes covers, I'd love her to include any of the following: Up to the Mountain Why Cryin' Lies That I Would Be Good/Use Somebody 7 Nation Army
For her own songs, I'd like to hear new versions of (not limited to this list): Just Missed the Train Cry One Minute (some super dancey version) Behind These Hazel Eyes Dark Side (I just think a lot can be played with) Mr. Know It All Miss Independent (Ellen version)
And for the Christmas song, I'd like to hear: Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas All I Want For Christmas Is You The Little Drummer Boy Blue Christmas What Child Is This (some interesting arrangement like Sarah McLachlan's)

My December came after an album that sold 11 million so you'd expect sales to be high enough for her to have another album. Other than that, I don't see how it could have ruined her career.

I'm a truly diehard Kelly fan, but that doesn't stop me from believing what I do about the MD era. Others certainly are free to disagree with me, and I know many here do. It's ok. :)

Not the album so much as the era and all that happened then. Not meaning to dredge up old stuff here though. The past is what it is. The future is waiting, all shiny and new. I'm looking forward to the official release of WDKY, and hoping the majority opinion here on Pulse is right that it will smash big.

I'm excited for a iTunes release of these videos, but please someone tell me that I am correct: the videos are not what Kelly meant when she talked about an iTunes EP. An EP is usually audio, no ? In addition, she is releasing a Christmas song, which means the EP should be out soon, no ? I apologize for sounding so selfish

In addition, she is releasing a Christmas song, which means the EP should be out soon, no ? She mentioned recording new versions of a couple of her old songs, plus a christmas song... so yeah, definitely not the EP she promised us, don't worry

I've been watching the XFactor WDKY performance a good bit and I LOVE it, I really don't understand why its being nitpicked to death. I thought she sounded amazing! A little raspy but she was tired, and it didn't sound bad. Besides...did y'all see the first performances of WDKY, like at the Troubadour? THAT was rough. This was a vast improvement. It's a hard song to do live and it will only get better.
