Loving this new song by Kesha.
No word on official mixes yet, but who needs 'em... Liam Keegan just finished his mix. Rockin!

Liam's mix is his laziest yet. :l how so? maybe this is just me, but I find the whole "stick to the original riff"/"overlaying new beats/instruments over the original" to be very cheap on many occasions, and he happened to do both. In my opinion, he didn't do these well. To me, it sounds like any other remix you could just dig up on youtube, ie very amateur. It was essentially a muddled version of the original, and honestly I would've just preferred a mix with an original arrangement or an extended version. Granted a solid acapella hasn't surfaced yet, but he could've at least waited before rush-releasing this.

But in this case, it's just very blah. I think an extended mix with some added bells and whistles like those classic Shep Pettibone, Arthur Baker, Jellybean Benitez extended versions from the 80's would be most appropriate for this song.

We R Who We R (Justin Sane Remix) (4:45)
It sounds kinda like it uses some sort of slightly filtered acappella, but it's far better than the Liam Keegan mix IMO.

Justin Sane's is better, but still a little muddled. Again, not my taste, but miles better.
also worth mentioning is James Rendon's mix. He's consistently turned out good mixes lately (his Take It Off mix was superb). Sounds like a legit acapella too?

It could just be a case of the production on the remix is masking the production from the original well? I don't know if the instrumental is out there for a 'proper' filtered acappella.

The official instrumental is supposed to be out, so it could be a well-filtered acappella. As for the mash-up, the instrumental and the vocals aren't in the same key so it doesn't sound that fantastic.

On the other hand, it is out of key, but I'm still semi-enjoying it.

I don't know if the official instrumental is definitely out, or whether what link I saw was the fake one you mentioned; since I didn't actually check it out for myself.

I kind of wished you'd pitched up the instrumental (if possible) on that mashup. She sounds ill singing at that pitch. I love the concept though. They actually go together in a weird way.

1. We R Who We R (Hagenaar & Albrecht Radio Edit) 3:20 2. We R Who We R (Hagenaar & Albrecht Club Mix) 7:16 3. We R Who We R (Hagenaar & Albrecht Instrumental) 7:16
don't know why these are coming out now but they're pretty interesting. Rather dubby, but there's a lot of energy in them .
