Second week for Rock icons; Def Leppard at #1 with thier hard Rock smash; "Let's Go" . The 80's rock vibe is alive and well, as this week "Someday" also gets a new high peak of #2. The Dead Weather score thier first top 10 hit on my chart with "I Feel Love(every Million Miles). The song also gets a vid spotlight. The band WHITE gets a push up the chart after peaking at #18 due to the positive response it's getting on the tournament. It could still go top 10? We have three big debuts on this week's chart. All three songs carry a different vibe. We have Indie synth pop from Class Actress, Indie Rock from The Kooks and straight out RnR from Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts. "Hotel Rio" is the 3rd song off Blaster I'm charting and also my favorite track off the album as well. All three songs also get vid spotlights. The're are two weeks left for 2015. The first week of 2016 actually falls on a Friday. Pulse 2015 Year-End Best Of Rock

Submit your top songs of the year in this thread before Monday, January 4th at midnight (US Eastern Time) & i will aggregate all of the lists and present the consensus for best songs of the 2015 a few days later.

Rules:  You may submit a list of any length, but only the Top 200 will be counted.  Do not include videos, images or comments within the list as this makes tabulation much more difficult.  If you want to include videos, images &/or comments, please be sure to put them above &/or below your list.  A #1 song will receive 200 points, a #2 song will receive 199 points, etc all the way down to the #200 song which will receive a single point.  If your list only has 50 songs then your last song listed (at #50) will receive 151 points and likewise for lists of varying length.  Please number the list.  If no numbers are provided then i will assume that the song at the top is your #1 song of the year and so on.  Same holds true for lists less than 200 that have any honorable mentions: i will count those additional songs in the order that they appear up to your 200th song listed.  The songs on your list may be of any genre, singles or album tracks, released this year or previously (up to a point: if i see anything that is obviously from a previous decade that wasn't specifically re-released then i will reject it from consideration - this is not a best of all-time competition, so no "Stairway To Heaven", "Love Will Tear Us Apart", or "Smells Like Teen Spirit" please - unless there are new covers of these out that i don't know about).  While non-rock songs may be included, if it is obvious that half or more of your list is comprised of artists that have never charted on Alternative, Active, &/or AAA, then that list will be rejected.  Posters that comment primarily in other format threads are welcome to participate but I will not allow, for example, a list of all country songs or all dance songs to be included in my tabulations - that would ruin this entire effort.  Please indicate that your list is a year-end list.  Lists that are obviously weekly will not be included in my tabulations (but continue to post your weekly lists as well if you like).  And, it should go without saying, only one entry per person.

That's what I thought. I'll just submit my top 100 of 2015 in that order. I think a minimum of 100 songs is essential for a proper year end music chart. Anything after 100 is considered a bonus.
