Does Oh Santa even exist? Mariah might has well have tried to re-promote her old Christmas album. What other new Christmas songs do you see burning up the charts right now? Give it til December and let's see how it's doing. It's about to enter the top 40 on AC radio which is a good sign of things to come. Please if people were interested the radio would play it. No one is interested in Mariah's new Christmas CD. Maybe that will change in the future but I'm not holding my breathe. |

Well it will definitely affect song's for the week after but not that significantly for the upcoming chart. The show starts at about 9 or 10pm so unless they're performing early on in the show then it won't really leave that much time to rack up a significant amount of sales that night before sales tracking ends (midnight) Rihanna is opening the show. She has the edge. |

Can we start getting updates for Dr. Dre's "Kush"? It's his 1st single in 11 years, and I heard it a few times on the radio today. Who wrote it snoop or eminem? I guess that's how long it took those two to write Dr Dre something. |

^ it sounds more like snoop's writing, but seeing as snoop even doesn't write much of his own stuff anymore, i think it's really up in the air. kind of sounds like 50 cent actually...

Nah, Snoop wrote it. 50 Actually can't write about smoking anymore because he ain't a smoker so it would be wack if he writes something about it. On the other hand, Snoop smokes weed/kush/hash , you name it 24/7 so he would be able to deliver the message and fulfill the concept better than fif....P.S in a recent interview Dre said he gotta hit the studio with Snoop to finish the last 3 records. |

songs that were doing well at Hot AC and AC will not do as well on the overall Mediabase chart for several weeks since the Christmas songs they are playing will cut into their current hits .that could explain the big drop for Bruno , Katy, Taylor and the slowing for Pink.

Not sure how going back to 80% airplay and 20% sales would help since that that would just shot out a lot of Pulse favorites from getting recent #1's (or debuting at the top).  Sales are just as important because radio sometimes doesn't play what people want to buy. |

why would you rely more on airplay to determine a hit anyway? that was a huge problem and we dont need to go back to that. either leave it as equal or if anything was to change, it would be making sales count more |

I am sure the other contestants would like to be #1 too but they choose to not cheat. :) Dropping the song price 4 days before the end of the week and begging young fans on Facebook to buy the song AGAIN is ridiculous! I am a fan of Rihanna's song but what her team is doing is so wrong! :) The good news, I think we all know what's gonna be #1 next week! :) |
